I've been looking forward to The War Store sale for weeks and saving up some planned purchases knowing it would be coming.
Note out there to the nitpickers because this came up last year and caused some confusion. The additional 5% off is off of the already 20% off discounted price, not the original list price, so the net discount, which is still great, works out to be about 24% off GW list.

They have one every year, so I'm not sure why this would be newsworthy.
I really wish there was another US online retailer like TheWarStore that wasn't in New York State. I get slapped with Sales tax, which means that instead of being 20% off GW prices, they end up being 11.25% off.

Glee!!! I am really stoked for their sale, in what will probably be the last miniatures purchase I make that doesn't involve begging my wife for cash or trading sexual favors in the parking garage of a university. Possibly to my wife.
And hells yea on the mega bitz pack. I almost always get more $ in complete kits than I spend on the pack, with lots of other fun stuff besides. Vivat!

The same miniaturesmarket.com that I waited an eternity to get my order from? Yippee..not.
I have been ordering from on-line retailers for a good many years and no one has been as consistent on having stuff in stock AND delivering my orders quickly as The Warstore has been.

I have been ordering from on-line retailers for a good many years and no one has been as consistent on having stuff in stock AND delivering my orders quickly as The Warstore has been.
Service from The War Store is consistently fast and reliable. I've been using them for several years now at least a couple times a year for large orders and I have nothing but good things to say about them.

YMMV, I can't answer to your specific experience, I don't work for them. I just know I never had a problem and the standard 25% discount + free shipping (on orders over $75) = very attractive. If it came to it, I could wait a few weeks if it meant I was going to save more than $10 on shipping alone but that hasn't happened yet.

Bad math is bad... 25% off $25 = $6.25 = $18.75 (an additional) 5% off $20 = $1.00 = $19.00 Now for the non-troll portion of my post... Anyone know if the bits grab bags are included in the Black Friday deal?

If I accidentally did 20% off twice in my haste to do other more important things, it nevertheless does not invalidate my explanation of how it works. Last year there was this huge argument here about why people weren't getting 25% off and I was trying to be helpful at preventing that. And if you follow my explanation, the discount does indeed work out to 24% off of list using $25 as a starting price. It should have been obvious from everything else I posted that I clearly understand how this works and that the one error was a simple one that was either a typo or made carelessly in haste. As usual on forums, someone has to try and make some huge negative and insulting deal out of nothing. I officially give up on trying to be helpful around here or any other forum. Please resume eating each other alive. *sigh*

Black Friday is coming and this year is set to be even better than the last!
Wondering what in the world is Black Friday? Read on!
* First of all Black Friday starts with an extra discount on everything we sell!
BAM! Black Friday appeals to everyone  Normally, I do not believe in ‘Sales’ so we set our site to have our lowest prices every day. But the point of a Black Friday Sale is to drag as much holiday business back to November and early December as possible so we aren’t running around like lunatics trying to ship everything the week before Christmas. A goal worthy of a sale!
* Second, Black Friday is a nice selection of special purchase items!
Look for extra discounts on certain lines and special products that are only available at the holidays. We have a nice selection of special purchases set for this year’s Black Friday Sale, including our annual Flames of War sale and even some extra-cool things from Games Workshop!
* Third, Black Friday is all about clearance and closeout sales!
Over the course of the year there are the inevitable over purchases or manufacturer closeout/discontinued items that do their best to clog up the warehouse. We have over 200 closeout/clearance items ready to go that will be published to the site Thursday night at 9PM Eastern time. Some of the items are a little odd but YOU might find them right up your alley! So make sure you are there as soon as the Pumpkin Pie is finished and the Tryptophan induced nap is done – all of the closeout/clearance items are all first come, first served and we don’t have many of each. They will sell out fast!
* Finally, Black Friday gives us a chance to go a little crazy here at the shop!
