Nerdy and probably pointless question yes, but I don't care . So, which one is it?

I would say I am most like Perturabo: apart from being somewhat skilled in the fine art of breaking stuff, I'm quite logical and methodical, preferring to co-ordinate the best strategy from afar without letting things like lust for glory or emotions get in my way. I'm quite difficult to faze, but that comes with a bad side; I have a nasty habit of veiwing people as tools or resources to be expended for the (if you'll excuse the irony) greater good rather than as indivuals. I can also be quite bitter, taking insults (real or imagined) to heart and obsessing over them, and my temperment matches his in that rather than punching you in the arm for the slightest infraction, I'll take slights for months if not years without showing much emotion before exploding in a rage that would scare Angron gakless and then not talking to you for the next 50 years.

I look forward to reading your thoughts!

Funnily enough, I would say Perturabo as well for mainly the exact same reasons as yourself.

Despite liking other character more, I ended up being honest and saying Rogal Dorn. I have a very strong loyal streak in me with a tactical and logical mindset, often trying to out think my opponent. I have also always been attracted to defensive warfare, fortifications, battles of attrition, etc. I am also extremely calm under pressure. I feel like Rogal Dorn ultimately embodies all of those things the closest.

Is there a link to a convenient source of info on the Primarch's personalities? Based on what little I know I'd probably go with Goullimane. I'm pretty effecient and well organized, with a pragmatic bent.

I am a nerdy, sexually repressed adolescent male with delusions of intellectual superiority to offset my teen angst driven quest for world domination...

Umm, which Primarch is the most Super-Uber in all aspects, dominates others by through the use of the only important attributes such as strength, cunning, has a HUGE and wears a black hooded cloak!?!?!?!

I'll be like him... or, he'll be like ME!! ...yeah, that's the ticket.

All that said, I prefer the Smurfs... I don't know why. Maybe I'm as rigidly dogmatic as Guilliam.

Since we really haven't seen him through his own eyes or at least in first person through the HH yet and only through how others perceive him one can only guess what makes him tick.

Or, maybe it's just because I like the number 13.

I'm going to go with Corax. The whole Emperor shows up, what do I do? Nope, not a strength test or instantly swear fealty, but just talking about it for a long time, seems like something I would do. The objective way he approached the Codex Astartes is another thing that I see in myself. Also the entire locking myself away and thinking about what I've done aspect is something I can relate to.

As a Death guard player I have to say Mortarion.

Join the Imperial Guard. The pay's lousy, the battles fierce and you probably won't ever come back again. BUT you get a lasgun.

Curze. No, I'm not depressed, but the way he wages war is perfect. Never be seen, inflict untold amounts of damage, and get your enemy gaking their pants before the battle even starts.

Magnus the Red. It sorta feels like I have that 'quest for knowledge' thing going on sometimes; I've always loved finding out little known pieces of information. And I'd like to think I have a balanced, logical approach to things like Magnus. Now, if only I could use the warp to shoot fireballs from my hands...

Wow, given the usual UM hate I'm surprised to see Roboute Guilliman doing so well. I picked him too though....he seems laid back/in control of his emotions....

Which as an aside, is why I think Roboute Guilliman is the most 'believable' Primarch. For being so inhumanely intelligent, many of them have severe anger/control issues. Roboute, thus far in the HH novels/fiction, seems the most level-headed/non-exaggerated Primarch. He comes off as intelligent rather than a disgruntled teenager looking for dad's approval.

I'd go with Fulgrim myself. I think my perfectionism is one of my best and worst traits at the same time. Excess (in its various forms) is nothing unknown to me either, I'm a bit superficial when it comes to myself always striving to become better and I enjoy the finer arts very much. Now, I wouldn't really claim to be too much like Fulgrim but there are some similarities there I guess, then again most artistic gents tend in that direction.

After some internal deliberation I'd have to say that I'm most like Russ.

No I wasn't raised by wolves and no I'm not some sort of space viking....

I do however love dogs, I've had em all my life and if I had anything as a pet it would be a dog.

But its more than that, I think Leman Russ was a person who believed in the concept of absolute war. Get in there tear em to shreds and bury em alive before they have a chance to hit back, destroy everything about them, their troops, their forts, their memories in the history books....

its basically the same way with me, if its worth doing its worth doing right.

plus I myself enjoy a drink with my buds every once in a while

on a side note, like Russ, if some guy were to come up to me and be like "I am the Emperor of Mankind, bow down to me." I'd be the first guy to jump up and yell: " YOU!!!! PROVE IT AND THEN MAYBE I'LL BOW DOWN!!!!"

Perturabo hands down. Bitter, paranoid, resentful of just about everything and everyone, intelligent, oganizational almost to the point of OCD, under-appreciated, over-worked, manipulative, and generally just a grumpy humbug who loves metal.

yep. me 100%.

I think Kurze, my sense of "justice" is sometimes a bit...extreme...I guess I can be quite vindicative.

Fulgrim and Magnus were close too, I value knowledge, I'm probably a perfectionist, and I'm damn good looking! (But not a red cyclops)

Great I'm all the evil ones...

Fulgrim for me, love the arts and cultural refinement not to mention im a bit obsessive when it comes to improving myself mainly due to self esteem issues which i feel nails Fulgrim pretty well. Not to mention Im one of few people who wouldnt mind wearing purple power armor .
