so how do think you space marines would handle dead space and how many to win or whipe them out 1 could get out alive i think especially with a chain sword and melta but as you add marines a concern comes 2 mind O.O what if they get 1 (this comes from my freind and i playing dead place and watching the ultra marines movie)

actually, when i read the game description the first thing i thought was "Space Hulk!!!"
marines board scary abandoned ships all the time looking for stuff. they find Genestealers and far worse things in the bowels of these forgotten ships.

So how many do you think could handle (the game Dead Space)? i.e survive and beat it.
How many would it take to win?
One (Space Marine) could get out alive I think especially with a Chain Sword and Melta but as you add Marines a concern comes to mind.
(Which is) What if (the enemies) get one?
This comes from a friend and I playing Dead Space and watching the Ultramarines movie.

true but this get 1 and they end up with heavily armored zombie marine but i do get your point they would be prepared just curios how they would fare when head shot are meaningless and the ones you just thought you killed come back for another go

I would actually not be all that surprised if the Tyranids eventually evolved a form of bug that could take over the corpses, a little faster than dragging off the mass to have it converted. Perhaps a type of nid that simply appeared like a dead guardsman or something.
I think the first time they attempted it they would get mostly slaughtered, after that the marines would burn every corpse they come across and it's business as usual.
Mostly as it's usually going to be a boarding action they are restricted in what they can use. No bolter (or at least no standard bolts), no melta and the rest are going to be fairly obvious (missile launcher, plasma cannon, lascannon etc). Generally it will be Terminators though and chain weapons are not out of the question as a boarding attack is the entire reason the chain fist exists.

I'd say daemons would beat Necromorphs...
I'd also say that a single marine could make it out but if he tried to fight them all he would lose without a doubt.

So some sort of Tyranid fleet corrupted by Nurgle? He did/does have a zombie plague going on somewhere already anyway.
It's not unheard of but usually the Hive Mind would kill off a corrupted fleet.

I think a chainsword and bolter would be sufficient to deal with just about everything Deadspace throws at you, probably overkill. Bolter would just pulp necromorphs, and any that managed to get close would get carved up instantly.

this forum has rules regarding proper grammer.
most forums have such rules and if you don't make it a little clearer it could result in you getting banned or suspended.
not everyone, i would venture most, on this forum either do not understand txt spk or do not speak english as their native language.
only an english speaker could hope to understand txt spk and even then many people can't.
