By far our best sunshine and warmth day of the year. Yes thats right, its taken us 6 months to get some decent sun.
I had forgotten how attractive Irish girls could be when a little bit of sun creeps out.

Whats it like where you are now and if you're having a scorcher what are the plans?
We have a bank holiday here on Monday too, so the drink will flow and blood will spill and if the boys wanna fight, ya better let 'em.

Having said all that Im off to Newcastle, UK tonight for the weekend and its supposed to be even hotter there.

Bah, trapped in a stuffy little room with no air-flow or air-condition, not to mention no view of the fairer sex in their summer dresses. This is like a very uninspired level of hell.

But tonight... sitting outside a pub, with a gin and tonic and a fine meal, in the softened evening sun? Yes, I think I can endure this with that at the end of it.

Luckily we have only had 2 scorchers so far. But for about a month or so its been in the mid 70s(about 24c) here in Michigan. Michigan is a weird place for weather though. It was 70s then POW 90s(33c ish)for 2 days then back to 70s.

F off. It was 100 here yesterday, a record. these are August termperatures. I'm afraid when August rolls around it will be 155 degrees. Its too hot dfor Dachshundskrieg.

Oh yea? Well my dad has a broken digital thermometer and it said it was 154 yesterday. But 5 minutes later it was 32.....so...... would that kill people?

86 degrees and just 10:00 AM here in Atlanta, temps expected to climb to 95 by noon...and summer is just starting, I'd expect that come mid July-early August we in the South will be traveling to hell to cool off.

Mate, if you like seeing birds with hardly any clothes on, I cant imagine what they will look like in Newcastle when the suns out, they dont wear any clothes in the snow!

Now thats some advice I wish my neighbor would follow. Nothing like being confronted with a topless 70 year old man to get your day off to a bad start, at least his some what robust wife wasn't following his example.

But that is surely more than made up for by people in short shorts and halter tops that should be.

Although IMO short shorts and halter tops are never appropriate attire. It's just that some people look good when dressed inappropriately

Anyone of retirement age is exempt. The whole point of getting old is being able to annoy the whipper-snappers with your oldness. Once I hit 65 I'm switching out my entire wardrobe for unbuttoned Hawaiian shirts and hot pants.

You're all hilarious. Here in Kansas City it will be 40 and thunderstorms for a few days, then sunny and 90 for a few days, then back to the storms. I carry a coat and a pair of shorts with me wherever I go, and yes, on some days I use both of them in the same day.

Yep, time for the UK's famous 6-month Autumn.

I spent all of last week on a beach on the South Coast drinking cider and eating pasties - bloody marvelous weather to boot.

I'm back at work today and it is pissing down with rain!

God is truely an Englishman.
