Hello, Dakka. Now, which Craftworld do you play, if any? I play Ulthwe, and Biel-Tan.

Went from Biel-tan at start of 2nd ed for the cool name to wanting Ulthwe for the guardian heavy lists I preferred. Ended up doing Iyanden back then though as two friends had Ulthwe armies, now back on Ulthwe for guardian heavy and speed of painting. Pity Shuriken catapults aren't as nice as they used to be

My own custom one.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Also play a custom one. Tonesh-ian, which means Blue Skies (and this shows on their colour scheme).
They mainly use heavy weapons (the D-cannon is a favorite), tanks and titans, they are very good artisans indeed.

Somewhat, yes. However, they specialize a bit more in using the weapons than making them.

Haha, drasca is also the name of an awful character on a show called outrageous fortune. Many bitchy women on your craftworld?

Always liked Ulthwe, akthough ive never started an army.
Their ideals are so... Radical.

My own, Pherosophos - "vehicle of wisdom." Technically they're craftworld Eldar, but they could, fall-time-frame wise, properly be called Exodites.

Still want to write extensive fluff, but need to get to painting first.

White and ice blue as dominant colours. Hyperboreans are from the north right? But mainly, I just like the colours.

Blood red and bronze/gold are the usual colours for ornaments, banners and stuff. This has no particular reason, just kinda happened.

Custom craftworld.

Aerlianath.

It translates into mon'keigh as "those who sit around the fire and sing songs of past glories."

Colours are dark blue and purple (the craftworld is led by twin brothers, one an Autarch, one a Farseer. The autarch prefers the hard and fast approach, the farseer is more a slow and iimplacable type.).

It's currently at around 12,000pts.

I've been playing them for the better part of 20 years though. In all that time, I still only have 8 tanks.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Ulthwe' since 3rd edition. In 2nd edition I played Alaitoc.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Saim-Hann, although I don't use the default colour scheme. I guess they're a wild riders clan or corsair fleet that have their own colours or something :p

I've been playing Saim-Hann since it has existed.

In Space Marine, they got a free card of jetbikes. I liked jetbikes at the time. That's all it took for me.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.

4th on the list to be built (After Marines, Guard, and Tau) are the Eldar of the Ráithe craftworld. Haven't done a whole lot in the way of fleshing them out as of yet and what I do have done is mostly a side note to the marines who are their oft allies.

Im building a wild rider host, so I'm closest to Saim Hann but I think I'm going to end up using Kaelor for iconography.
