what are you asking? and what comes under classics for you?
If it's what music I listen to then my tastes vary greatly from day to day and mood to mood, one day death metal, next day jazz, day after that bit of dubstep.

Wretch 32 Traktor.
I do like classics aswell.
Never heard of Wretch 32 Traktor, I mainly listen to Skrillex stuff (and I gather he's not all that popular among the Dubstep fans, mainly because he's popular?), Mt Eden is good as well. To be honest most of the stuff i've listened too is good, I just haven't looked into it too much yet because I don't want to become some dubstep addict.
I'll listen to pretty much anything, got some Johnny Cash on at the moment, RHCP newest album after that (I love that album, listened to it loads, although I think i've done that every time I get a new RCHP album) and maybe some Darling Violetta later.
And I forgot Ska... any ska, although I probably prefer 3rd Wave, even though the 'real ska fans' don't because its not real Ska or whatever, but 1st wave, 2tone etc are good as well.

Not really a fan of Dubstep. To me most of it sounds like they grabbed one rift, distorted the crap out of it then recorded their neighbors bashing their head on the wall while they made it.
Though some of it seems to be alright sometimes like this.
Though my music seems to kill threads...
Spoiler:
A mix of rock and electronic ones. With some Neo Classical thrown in at the end.
In Italian for some reason.

Metal, rock, some rap, some cheese, some classical, religious celtic, Bhangra... Basically anything I like, my Ipod on shuffle could be playing Amon Amarth one moment to Nessun Dorma then Trivium to Gregorian monks chanting. If I like I will listen.
Bruins fan till the end.
Never assume anything, it will only make an ass of you and me.
I seem to dig alot of different music types.
Metal(all kinds just to keep it simple. From 80s on up to Meshuggah type)
Electonic
Industrial
Techno(same deal all types Dubstep on up)
Soft rock(is that what its called? Minus the Bear type stuff*shrugs*)
Bluegrass
Blues

Mainly Dubstep and other kinds of electronic goodness. However, its always good to have some other stuff handy, so you dont get too tired of one genre. At least, thats how it its for me. So I do listen to a fair amount of classics (proclaimers, beatles, queen, dendeman, etc.) here and there. Thing that bugs me most about electronics/dance stuff is the lack of creativity. You can only listen so often to the remix, of the remixed remix thats been remixed already ... probably twice.

I listen mainly to metal and hardrock, normally bands such as blind guardian, kamelot, three days grace and amon amarth, however sometimes just to mix it up ill trhow in some neo classical in the form of thomas j. bergerson and two steps from hell.

Mainly Within Temptation and Hammerfall, but I browse these threads to find more ideas. Currently Turisas, Tyr, and Two Steps from Hell are being closely.
Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. I'm more a fan of "interesting" approaches to guitar or sound in general on particular songs then of generes as a whole. Most people I know are annoyed/perplexed by my refusal to be genere-loyal/genere exclusive with my listening. I find people's adherence to genres to be sort of forced and more to do with social perception then anything esle a lot of the time...

@ Karon, awsome that used to be my job killing threads, glad to see the position is in good hands.... =o] [/sarcasm]
I love Bone Thugs n Harmony, ever since I heard 'Creepin ona Come up' LP i've been a huge fan and I think Notorious Thugs is one of the best songs both Biggy smalls and Bone ever did. Lazye just kills the song at the end... I really like Lazye's raps the best. DMX is pretty cool also I really enjoy 'roughriders anthem'
Are you into Eazy-E, RBL Possee, Brotha Lynch hung, Spider Loc, WC and the madd circle, Old School Master P, OutKast, Goodie Mobb, that kind of stuff. They all have some really good music, I especially like Outkast and Goodie Mobb. =o] 'Whatcha .........ers know about the dirty south, whatcha .....ers really know about the dirty south...
I have to be in a certain mindspace to listen to Floyd.
I'm not often in it.
I'd have to be out of my mind to listen to most 'dance' stuff (and/or off my face).
So my fallback is pretty much 70's/80's/early 90' (but for me, "Grunge" never existed) guitar laden "Rawk!" (and in honour of Nigel Tufnel day last Friday - listened to "at eleven!".).
The Cult, Alice Cooper, Heart, Rush and so on.
I've never liked "hip hop" (both the 'commercial kind' and the 'indy stuff'). It just did not resonate with my programming (I am white, therefore HAVE no soul, brah!) or rap - and to me, Eminem is only a snackfood - not the Vanilla Ice wannabe.
I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
