For the low, low price of only $300.

Not sure why the link says it is the Dirz Wyrm ...

Tell me when their morbid puppets line is back up...

$300 for that dragon is insane! Gorgeous model but wow...

For some reason I read the price as 29.99, then I looked again and felt sad. Beautiful model, just a bit out of my price range.

$300! Once again, CMON is not showing any signs of making confrontation an actual product line. More of a collector line for the insane

I'd rather buy heresy's dragon, $100 or so more but much more massive

I was really hoping this got a re-release, but there's no way I'll pay $300 for that.

It brought that to mind for me, too- unfortunately, Heresy' dragon is:

1. Almost exactly the same price (200 pounds)
2. Has over a 200 person waiting list, with only around 20 dragons sent out so far... years after people paid for it.

So, yeah... I'd take this over the Heresy dragon. If they were both immediately available, I think Heresy's probably wins hands-down over any dragon out there. But it's NOT available... even though it's listed for sale, there's absolutely no guarantee if those 200-some people will get their dragons- or if they do, When. The rate they're being made is putting them on pace to get through Just the current queue in something like 4-5 years...

This one does look better than most others I've seen, though... apparently making a fething sweet dragon is hard to do, as there aren't many awesome ones out there, and they all cost a fortune

It is worth it. That is a beautiful model, and I feel very lucky that I own one.

Not that far off $260 SRP. I wish they would have released the smaller Cynwall dragon that I want to use as a Wyvern.

How big is it? The photo doesn't do much for scale. It could be mounted on a 40mm base for all I can see.

There's scale photo on the site.

They have a scale picture up. Confrontation figures are 30MM so larger than GW figs.

Bummer, if it were bigger I might have been able to justify it, but it's about Encarmine Dragon size, and 3x the price.

One of the few confrontation models I never liked, its so goofy! Even if I did I would rather spend 300 in HUGE numbers of 15mm instead

I would absolutely love to own one, but the simple fact is that I would never be able to actually do it justice by painting it. So it'd be $300 just to buy it, and then however much to have it professionally painted. Just can't justify it.

I don't know about you, but I have high hopes for Raging Heroes to release a fantastic dragon model at a reasonable (all things considered) price. I'm still in love with my Lammacore!

As $300 dragons go, I prefer Cang the Implacable myself Agree with Navarro that this guy is just kinda goofy, lots of scrawny happening all over the place, not the brutal beast style of dragon I prefer. Actually, this titan dragon reminds me of the art for the skorne archidon, just gigantic, with fore arms, and 10x the price

I can't understand their pricing on any of the Confrontation items so far. They've done no concept work, no sculpting, very little marketing themselves and the license/masters could not have been that expensive to justify a price like this.

Consider that Reaper has the Cinder Dragon, about the same size in metal and retails it for $70...and it comes in a re-usable plastic case!

Blame Rackham it retailed for 259.99 so it's not much of a markup by CMON on this one.

Much cheaper alternative

McFarlane toys did an entire series of dragon toys that were excellent.

Glad I wasn't the person who brought it up, but I definitely agree.

If I'm going to buy a dragon to have as a pretty display piece, for an obscene amount of money...I'm getting the one where I'm not on a waiting list or buying a "limited edition" and the one which doesn't look to be balancing on its tail.

Yeah, pretty much.

I don't like many of GW's dragons. I like the Orc Wyvern, and the new Zombie dragon (it needed time to grow on me, I wasn't blown away by the sculpt initially). The new Black Dragon and High Elf dragons are pretty bad, honestly, and the old dragons are too... old school?

Forgeworlds have yet to make a dragon I don't like. The fire dragon is a classic dragon, the sort you'd picture in lord of the rings or some other old fantasy book. The Carmine dragon is a smaller, more agressive looking dragon, something you'd see in newer movies, and the Toad dragon is a wonderful reimagining of GW's old Toad dragon. And their Chaos dragon is beyond words.

With the exception of the Chaos dragon, they're all cheaper than the Titan dragon, and bigger. And the chaos dragon only just edges it out in price and is enormous. I could see myself paying $150us for the Titan dragon, maybe $200. $300 is ridiculous.

Agreed on the FW Dragons. Pretty damn slick, those. Reaper Miniatures has a number of dragons, too. Some are better than others, admittedly.
