Are you mad that we saved their sailors? This statement doesn't really tie into the story, unless you think the story is negative for the Obama administration, but even then it seems a bit of a leap to ge from the Navy helping some Iranian sailors to insulting Obama about KJI's death.

On a boat, Trying not to die.

Good for the Navy. Maybe this will help relations between the US and Iran.

Maybe.

I asked a for clarification, which shouldn't be such a big deal considering the statement was such a non-sequitor to the story posted. Me thinks ye might need to get thy panties unbunched before looking at other men's panties to criticize.

Wasn't that in the Bible?

You hypocrite, first take the bunch out of your own panties, and then you will see clearly to remove the bunch from your brother's panties.

Still, it's a nice story.

Not quite business as usual, yet. The usual suspects haven't done an anti-Fox New screed.

Look what we found Iran have your sailors back. What's that? Gas went up a quarter a gallon in the states yeterday.
/gun
You can have your sailors back when regular unleaded gets to 2.00 a gallon...in Los Angeles. Until then we shoot one a week and then the bombings begin.
Best Wishes

Unless that salor happens to be a somali pirate!
You and Kilkrazy have it pretty much right on, though. It's kind of like being able to use someone's cabin in really remote areas, the whole do unto others thing.

I don't think anyone did get upset about this. It's one of those stories that is extremely cool to read about in the midst of all the nastiness going on right now.

yet. in our history, many civilizations did privateerings. to collaborate with any pirates and do sabotage one's rivals.

AFAIK.
- Gaddhafi does alot of privateering since late 70s

but i'm not sure about the Theocratic Kingdom of Iran (actual name. don't call it Republic because it doesn't run by the known principles of Republic) if they do privateerings?

1) Don't kingdoms need kings?
2) I'm fairly sure pirvateers are all but extinct by now...
3) AFAIK Privateers were a form of legal piracy... irregular naval warfare if you will. Mostly in times of open warfare to disrupt shipping, trade and supplies...

1. Who holds actual power in Iran? not President. but the Komeini clan. does this differs to monarchy?
any president who defy him will be deposed and branded as 'heretics'.
2. ok if any 'noble' nations refrain from using privateers. you can say so.
aren't you aware that there are some rogue states on earth who defy what we believe it is "international law"? and don't you think that those rogue rulers will do anything/everything to save their very posessions (and their very neck)? anything that reduces the will of any hostile nations (usually the U.S.A. or the E.U. zones) and nasty. including privateerings. might do.
I'm not sure if Gaddhafi had made those somalian pirates his goons? if so. does that counts as privateering?
