Tom Clancy's End War. Supreme Commander 1 or 2, can't remember which.... One of them can be played on the 360, I know that.

I think Halo Wars is it unless there were more that weren't just ports from PC games as they seem to be clunky at best.

I already played End War, wasn't that grand. I'll look into the Supreme commander games.

Yes but good luck finding a copy. Battle for Middle-Earth II was released on 360 and apparently it wasn't bad but I've been searching for a copy for years (PC or 360) and haven't been able to find one save overpriced ones on Amazon. It's like trying to find a hard-disk copy of KoTOR.

That's what it was, battle for middle earth, I played it once like 4 years ago. I thought their was legal issues with that game and you can't play online anymore...

North of your position

Halo Wars and Battle for Middle Earth 2
BFME2 is especially epic.

I'll bet you could find used copies pretty cheap. New is another story.

Apart from lolling at this thread I could suggest RUSE which is apparently an rts for consoles it is ok game. I played while it was beta.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

At least in the realm of RTS he's probably right. RTS controls are hard to map onto analog controllers.

Of course, why anyone would give RUSE any grade other than "Ubisoft gak" is beyond me. Horrible game.

First gamestop I went to had it used. It's worth the money, as it is epic.

He's not entirely trolling...while he could have been a little more tactful about it, I agree with him. I am primarily a console player...my computer is terrible, and I prefer how fps games are slower paced consoles. But I have yet to play a RTS game on a console that comes remotely close to how much fun they are on PC. I played Halo Wars, and it seemed so simple and outdated compared to RTS games on PC...like on par with AOE2 or older games. It must just be the nature of the controls, but even if you have to turn the graphics waaaay down (I do) try playing some RTS games on PC just to see the difference. In my opinion, playing with horrible graphics is worth the improvement in gameplay. Like Company of Heroes, Dawn of War, World in Conflict, Age of Empires 3 and StarCraft are some good ones.

Each to his own, if you prefer RTS games on consoles then play what floats your boat. But it might be worth it just to give it a shot on PC, even if it is really outdated, slow or whatever.

I prefer to play RTS games on PC, Starcraft was the first RTS, and one of the first games I EVER played. But my friends don't have good computers for gaming like me, so consoles it is...

Unfortunately, there really aren't any. Halo Wars is about it. BFME2 is passable but I wouldn't call it good. They just don't work ported, and there haven't really been any that are designed from the ground up to be console RTSs

Hey I'm just saying that's what I'd do if I were him, I'm not trying to be counter productive or anything. We've already established that there really aren't any good RTS games on consoles- you cant play BFME2 online anymore

Buy a PC if you want an RTS. Mixing consoles and RTS' is bad news.

Though I guess that's not helpful of me. I enjoyed Kingdom Under Fire on the original Xbox and I believe a sequel is being made for 360.

Brutal Legend is a sort of RTS, though I wouldn't recommend it to you if your looking for Hard Core RTS.

It's more of a hacker/brawler with a mix of RTS elements.

I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.

I loved it too but the RTS part of it was its weakest element.
