I vote Ulthwe, based solely on their color scheme. I found it very easy to paint.

Ulthwe, as when I first started it's paint scheme didn't involve mucking about with vines or flames. Just a shame they no longer have the black guardian rules.

Sadly, my army is all painted like Saim-Hann, and I'm not going back and repainting 60+ guardians.

You mean "Buy this useless squad in order to get 3 flame templates" Guardians? Yes, they're playable for the 3 flame templates. But, as Black Storm Guardians, they could actually be used for their intended purpose: Assaults!

Any Craftworld mentioned in another book. Simply because it's being destroyed.

My dear lord Inquisitor,

This infernal craftworld is called Aceriyan and spends its time out toward the eastern fringe killing anything that crosses thier path. Thier imperial designation is the Ice Dragons of Aceriyan. This is due to thier light blue colour and chosen method of warfare which is fast moving and hard hitting.
The Aceri have close connections with the Harlequins(who commonly assist in battle) and due to this have access to all but the most dangerous webway gates. They also maintain a close relationship with the exodites and are more willing to send aid than other craftworlds do in times of peril.

They can't be bothered actually getting in there to 'sort them out' so they just character assassinate and snipe them to everyone else - so that the other younger races do the dirty work for them.

(My eldar army, started in 2nd ed, finished playing in 5th ed, hasn't seen the table in the last few years because I'm sick of 40k but not stupid enough to sell them.)

Because way way back in 2nd my brother started with Blood Angels and I needed an army that contrasted that!

Biel-Tan.

1) They're warriors, so they're more honorable and pragmatic than other Eldar.
2) They have a long history with my favorite Chapter, the Blood Ravens Chapter.
3) They have a badass title, the Tempest of Blades.

Black Guardians were only the Guardians purchased as the mandatory Troop slots (i.e. two squads max in a standard FOC).

Personally I like Il-Kaithe best, or their artisan cousins in the north and west. My own are painted Blue with purple details and gold armour with a corsair detachment that's dark red with red armour and bright red highlights.

I like Ulthwe, but I have my own craftworld: Aleuthen.

The Eldar population survived 10,000 years within the Eye of Terror through unknown means. Maugan Ra, most kick-ass of Phoenix Lords, went in and came back out with his home-world. We know very little of how their time spent within the realm of chaos affected the craftworld. All others shun them for fear of taint and yet... they are the only craftworld to have moved so close to Terra in recent events.

I chose them for their color, hawk turquoise, and because they follow Morai Heg (=Banshees).

Alaitoc. Electric blue and bright yellow is such an awesome contrast. I paint my Eldar army that way.

I also love Ulthwe and Biel-Tan though.
