Hey all,

The staff at Roll Of The Dice Online Games are all taking up their toolkits and paintbrushes to put together 1000pt armies in expectation of 40k 6th edition. Each staff member will be updating the blog each week with their progress (or lack thereof) and we will eventually be putting together scenery and objective markers too when not testing our army selection against one another. Craven begrudgingly comes back to Games Workshop. Its Chaos for the army challenge but he's doing it his own way!

Cheers. When I get to talking about them I will let people know how I did it. These ones were mostly copied from an 'eavy metal guide but since then I've been playing around to get a more natural look.

If you want a more natural look, mix the greens you're using with a little brown. Works very well!

I converted up some rough riders for Andy after having fun fielding some in my traitor guard army. Andy had a good idea of what he wanted and how he would like them to look. Playing with Mordians they needed to fit in with his theme. So he ordered a box of Empire pistoliers and handed over some bits boxes filled with dark elf, cadian and metal mordian pieces. This is what I came up with.

Hi Perkustin. Thanks for the compliment. As our armies are in the quite early stages there isn't much to show as yet but I can tell you that Craven has raided Andy's bitz boxes and come away with a load of forge world Khorne terminators, Sid picked up the 20th anniversary Crimson Fists Captain, Andy has added not one but two painting nights to his week and Dan has been spotted painting, unheard of! So stuff is happening.

I hope they will pass me some pics to share with you here and they will definately need to put some up when they actually start writing about their unit choices. Keep watching this space.
