Since there are a lot of people that like the Halo videogames, I thought we should give a RPG a try.
As the title suggests, it will take place during the Fall of Reach, to be more precise- the Raid on New Alexandria (Capital of Reach).


We knew this day would come. They have found our fortress among the stars. The Covenant are on Reach. They will burn this planet, kill millions, and when Reach falls—and fall it will—there will be nothing left to stand between them... and Earth.

Players can play as either Human or Covenant, who are divided in some sub-classes.

Human classes:

Major background: Ruvan was born on the planet of -REDACTED-. When it was attacked by the Covenant, he and five friends managed to escape. Travelling halfway across the supercontinent on the planet, they managed to get to one of the last evac ships just in time. They were taken as candidates for the Spartan-III programme and were incorporated into a single squad once training was over. Rapier squad has since seen 3 successfully actions: securing -REDACTED- on -REDACTED-, destroying -REDACTED- on -REDACTED-, and evacuating civilians on -REDACTED-. Ruvan is a competant soldier with a high level of both tactical and strategic thinking, although he has difficulty making hard descisions; he would rather pass them on to someone else or do nothing until another option appears. He shows preference for close-quarters engagements, often using his rapier to battle superior oponants. He is currently stationed on reach with the rest of rapier, which he leads: Nikkelsson-167, Hurst-168, Laila-169, Darnel-170 and Nikkesla-171.

Appearence: Brown hair, Hazel eyes, ODST equipment
Major background: When news reached him that his father, Rodion Semyonov, was killed during the Human Covenant War, Mikhail was quick to sign up for the ODST Troopers. He was soon noticed for his accuracy in shooting, and was assigned his Dedicated Marksman Rifle. Alas, Mikhail and his squad were immediately sent to the frontline at Reach upon completion of their training. This baptism by fire will be his first taste of battle...

Class: UNSC Corps Marine.

Appearance: Tall, long red hair, has a scar across her left cheek from a previous battle with an elite special ops.
Major Background: Freya was born on reach and on her 18th birthday her parents were butchered in front of her. She ran away with her brother and they joined the UNSC. 6 months after joining the UNSC, they were both sent into the mission to defend sword base from the covenant. Freya and her brother stood beside two of the best spartans. Her brother was killed in that conflict and she swore revenge.

Major background: Bane had always shown a certain skill that made him a leader. He was ordered to help spearhead the attack on reach, and was given a small squad to follow his command. Banes real name can't be pronounced by humans, due to the complexity of it.

Appearence : Mark V armor with a Commando helmet. All painted in ACU style camoflauge. Has a camoflauge generator modification
Background : Showing an affinity for camoflauge Revre was always good at sniping exercises during training. He also proved to be an excellent marksman and was top in his squad. Revre also prefers cqc if hiding isn't an option. His pair of bowie knifes are always on standby and on spare time when he is bored he will practice takedowns and fatal routines.

Appearence:
Major background: Kenny Brovic was a shut in before the Battle of reach, a historian, who focused on old world poetry. When the covenant attacked, he attempted to flea, but was almost fatally wounded by a a pistol misfiring into his head. The police took him for dead, evacuating the town and leaving him behind. When he awoke, Kenny had suffered major brain damage, and now can only see things in fractured reality. He sneaked his way to the police station, and looted a pistol. He has been forced to train himself in the art of stealth, lest a covenant soldier find and kill him. Kenny only speaks in quotes from famous poems, and never stops moving, or attempting to hide, even when he knows he is safe.

ODSTs will most likely be dropping into the conflict scattered, I imagine, due to the number of covenant ships providing their troops air cover. Any idea if any marines could group up with "Sammy"?
