Considering many of them are terrible questions, it is entirely forgivable, and probably commendable. Even residents of Arizona wouldn't generally be able to tell you the admittance date of the State.
I love how the British quiz actually had significant events as questions and the US gets questions about evening soap operas from the late 70's, early 80's.

Ahtman, it's just a fun quiz. I don't mean to be offensive, but nobody forced you to do it. It's just banter.

I knew off hand the Generals question, as it's (at least for me) common knowledge that Pershing and Washington hold extremely special places in the U.S. Military historical/practical apparatus.

Nobody forced you to post it in the first place either. What a silly thing to say. Banter is a playful dialogue, just posting an inane quiz isn't banter.

If you live in Arizona and you haven't figured out what year AZ was admitted to the union you either can't read or are a drooling idiot.

So they keep those signs up even when it isn't the Centennial? I'd still bet that if you just randomly asked Arizona residents on the street that vast majority would still not know off the top of their heads, and really why would you? It isn't as if there is a greater significance to Arizona being admitted into the US. It isn't as if we are talking about when Texas allowed the US to join them and create the larger Texan suburbs*. How many of the 50 states admittance dates do you know off the top of your head without looking them up? It isn't even interesting trivia.
*That is for you Fraz.

1) In which year was Arizona admitted to the Union?
***1912
2) In which year were Native Americans granted full US citizenship
***depends on the tribe. Some always had it.
3) Who are the only two men to have held the rank of General of the Armies in the US Army?
***I would have thought Grant instead of Pershing but I was wrong.
4) Who was the first American President to die in office?
Got me
5)In which year was the Missouri Compromise agreement passed?
1840s.
6)In which year did the TV series Dallas debut
Wait, that’s not life? Again the 70s
7) Where is George Washington buried?
good one there
8) Who did Aaron Burr kill in a duel?
Hamilton. Hamilton didn’t even try is my understanding and Burr was kind of an butthole.
9) In which year did Guns 'n' Roses release the album Appetite for Destruction?
Got me but excellent album. Sweet child is one of the few songs I have memorized
10) How many American Presidents have been assassinated?
A buttload. I can think of 3 offhand. I can also think of at least three attempts (Reagan, Roosevelt, Roosevelt)
11) How long did the British occupation of Texas last?
Beer doesn’t count as occupation. Its more of a way of life.
12) In which year did the Continental army surrender to the British at Yorktown?
“What do you think this ‘A’ stands for? France?!!”

The whole Arizona thing is because Arizona was the last state on the continental landmass to be admitted to the Union, or something like that. Not because it's special, although it's residents may argue otherwise
Native Americans were chosen for a question because they tend to be overlooked in favour of African Americans.
The pop culture questions were chosen to reflect America's unique contribution to 20th century culture i.e Hollywood and Rock n Roll. I couldn't think of an Oscar question, so I chose one of my favourite TV shows and one of my favourite albums.
Presidents tend to feature more in this quiz because rightly or wrongly (depending on your view) most people associate American history with Presidents.
And as for the last two questions... I hope this clears thing up. I could have posted 100 questions, but like I said, it's just a fun quiz.

It IS the centennial that's the point. Oh I forgot, it's Ahtman.

1. Um....
2. Uh...
3. I'm going to guess Eisenhower and that corncob pipe guy
4. Lincoln, maybe?
5. The Missouri what?
6. Who cares.
7. Arlington, perhaps?
8. The guy he was dueling (duh!)
9. Pass
10. 4. Lincoln, that guy who was shot by that lawyer, the orange cat president who was shot by the anarchist and Kennedy
11. Until the British got tired of barbecued hog
12. During one of the years of the American Revolution
3) Who are the only two men to have held the rank of General of the Armies in the US Army?
...
I suppose you're refering specifically to Washington and Pershing, but frankly under them the title held no meaning so its kind of pointless. General of the Armies is a ceremonial title with no powers. Naming every General of the Army would have been more interesting. This is why context matters, oh yeah I went there
I got Hamilton, and four Presidents assassinated, and the last one as a trick question, and I knew the decade Native Americans were admitted, but not the exact year (because it shows how woefully late Australia was in granting the same to Aboriginals).
“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

The Native American one is not correct. There were members of tribes granted citizenship as far back as when we kicked the crap of the Brits.
