A major Chaos Space Marine invasion if an imperial fortress world?

A huge Tyranid hive fleet assault on a major Ork world?

or a massive demonic invasion of a Space Marine Chapter home world?

For sheer drama, daemons. They basically break the rules of physics around them.

Daemons vs Orks vs Nids would be the best.

Arguing with some people is like playing chess with a pigeon. You can play the best chess in the world, but at the end of the day the pigeon will still knock all the pieces off the board and then gak all over it.

I think that would be pretty cool.

The whole landscape being at war as well with Ork Spores popping, Digestion Pools puking and blood raining upwards from the ground.

No pity, no remorse, no shoes

Orks vs Anything really.

But honestly, Orks vs Tau. When Orks start looting railguns, gak gets real.

For a more awesome big time scenario...

Orks vs crons vs daemons.

Ork planet that happens to be a tomb world gets to close to the eye of terror, awesome is insured.

Then throw the nids in for a war that never ends, and none of the sides will care about it never ending.

Well, I reckon the crons would be somewhat annoyed. The Nids only real enemy on this field would be the Orks, there is no benefit to gain from fighting necron or daemons, no biomass to be gained. They would also kind of negate the daemons there depending on the fleet size.

Nids vs Orks, because it will never end and the longer they fight, the scarier all the combatants get (new adaptations for the nids, orks getting bigger and stronger from all the fighting). There's actually a planet somewhere where this is happening, and the genetic arms race is so powerful the Imperium is considering exterminatus.

I read about that, pretty sure it was my friend's planetstrike rulebook.

Not sure the exact details, as I don't own the book myself. And it's definitely the most epic thing happening, as the nids are getting tougher, and the orks are getting tougher, and whoever wins is basically going to be able to wipe out everyone else put together.

Lol sir you are wrong it isnt A planet its A entire sector that the orks had control of until a tendril of leviathin came and since then started a huge war that is still going on to this day!!! The IoM cant exterminatus them cause the amount of tyranids and ork ships\bugs or so great that they cant break through it. The way I see it is a giant wall of lights and ships and whenever another ship joins it's just more lights in the sky, they cant break through the giant wall!!!

orkz are da best!!!

If the Daemons have their mortal servants, especially if they're Khornate in particular, I'm pretty sure the Nids would also go after the forces of Chaos, of course, Khornates are likely to attack first. And the Nids have been documented to attack the Necrons to make them get away from their latest meal, and the Necrons have also attacked the Tyranids when they stumble in too close to a tomb world. The tyranids have also attacked Daemons on Sondheim V, again because they were getting in the way of a meal. Generally speaking, if you're in the way of food, the Tyranids will attack you regardless of who you are.

The space marine home world one i think because anything that can come close to the battles of the HH Im down. I know you wont see as many marines as a legion, but i bet the whole chapter would race to get back.

Yeah, not to mention that invasions of space marine homeworlds have somewhat of a bland taste, it's always marines.

It's like the battle for Macragge, except that it would be with demons. I would much prefer Nids versus Orks.

First order of business: Rip abaddon's head off and put it on a pike and beat the Black Legion into submission.
Second order: Find space hulks
Third order: ATTACKATTACKATTACK!!!

Orks Vs Tyranids. On a Tomb World. That is in the path of an Imperial Crusade. That also happens to have an extremely powerful Chaos Artifact on its surface, which draws in the Traitor Armies, and the Eldar who basically want to destroy everything, because of the Necrons and the potential Chaos power that could be unleashed.. That so happens to be in the Eastern fringe, where the Tau are trying to Expand their Empire.

So, DoW: Dark Crusade with a Tyranid expansion pack?

Frothing Warhound of Chaos

here

The Emperor returns. His psychic presence glowing in the warp like a firestorm. This upsets the dark gods who send forth Abaddon to lead all chaos legions. All Tyranids break away from planets currently under siege/terraform to run screaming through space like moths to the light. All guard units available are pulled back to defend the inner solar system. Entire systems are abandoned. Astartes chapters are sent to intercept the oncoming chaos fleets. Orks from Octavia follow the hive fleets, chasing them down blasting holes in planets and hive ships alike. The necrons are waiting and positioning their forces around the system, awakening other tomb worlds so they can finish off the victor. Tau?...they thought its a better idea to just leave the main event alone and expand their territory.

The Emperor leads the forces of man in a epic struggle against Chaos and the Tyranids, While the Orks attack on all fronts.
