Subject: What sci-fi fans, gamers and religious fanatics do and don't have in common
Some humor about what Warhammer, sci-fi fans, gamers and religious fanatics do and don't have in common.
Altered Space Marine version:

You lured us in here by saying there were space marines; there were not.
Then you added a gakky 20 sec video that does not make up for the 3 minutes of my life you wasted under false pretenses.
Lame to the tenth.

If this is the biggest disappointment you've had today I'd say you had a pretty good day.
This forum could use a thread about how it's good to not get too emotionally invested in things of absolutely NO consequence which would include anything and everything on a gamer forum.

I wasn't being terribly serious. Take your own advice and take a chill pill. To your credit, I found the original video funny. It just had nothing to do with Warhammer.

You're right he totally got me. I've learned through this thread that I can tell people "don't be a dick" on Dakka and that's cool. No repercussions. I feel the weight lifting off my shoulders.

Yea Im a Picard man as well Patrick Steweart is hilarious in person as well. I was watching interviews with the cast of The next generation, and they were talking to the guy that played Worf. And he said, since he was beind Stewart all the time, he would make fun of Stewart often. And Patrick Stewart was a trained Shakespearean actor apparently, so Worf would make monologues about how he was about to kill this kingly person. So he would stab Patrick Stewart with whatever he had near him, like a banana or some such, and he said Stewart would die for like 10 minutes strait while on camera. Gasping for air, and making up dialog in tune to some tyrant killing him and so on. fething hilarious
