What are your opinions on them? Is it just me or does the Stormtalon look like a baby Stormraven?

Pretty much the standard SM vehicle these days.

Grotesquely overweaponed and ugly as sin, especially when painted smurf blue.

The new ork ones are great, and the necron one almost makes me want to start 'crons again, almost

Really, you like the baby carrier tomb blade/scythe? I actually think that the stormeagle has a brave little toaster appeal to it

I actually like the Storm Talon. I have no idea why, because I don't like the Storm Raven. Looks how I imagined a Space Marine gunship - small, chunky and spartan. No extras, just a cockpit slapped to some engines and guns sticking out.

The Necron ships look like their artwork, which is good because the artwork was great. Distinctive and alien looking.

The Ork fighta not so much. It's a MIG with some Orky gubbinz slapped on. They phoned that one in.

Perhaps I'm missing something here, but how does the Night and Doom Scythe look anything like a Babycarrier. I can see where you are coming from a, tad bit, on the Tomb Blades, but no clue on the Scythe.

Best of the bunch for me, is the scythes. They look quite formidable, and are great kits.

Is there a link to these new rules, or, is GW hoping you will purchase the new white dwarf. Is WD the only way to get the rules?

They'll be in WD, or you could just wait til they get to the internet. And the Necron looks like a baby carrier because of the strap. It reminds me of one of the walker/swing toys

They more seem to me as potential canidates for disassembly (by weapons fire)! Then their remains would be used to create war machines for the 91st Imperial Guard!

I know the IG have Valk's right now but a dedicated attack craft would be nice.
like one of these.

Or even some Banshee (Starcraft 2), A-10 Thunderbolt 2/Warthog hybrid armed to the teeth with guns and missiles.

As for the Ork/SM/ and Necron birds. my Hydras will finnaly something to shoot at that doesn't walk, drive or float over the ground a few feet.

You already have an attack craft that can outshoot a Land Raider. Be happy with the Vendetta.

I think the mini-Stormraven was kind of the idea. Guess you missed all the moaning about the Stormraven looking like a mini-Thunderhawk.

Anyway...

I think they all look good.

I guss you've never read the Imperial Guard codex? It really hurts to play an IG list with all the Vendetta/Valkyries zooming around.

As I said in the rumour thread, I want to see the Harpy now. Hopefully it's not just a bigger winged Hive Tyrant, and they actually make it look dynamic and nasty. Something like a huge, bulked out Gargoyle would be pretty perfect.

Well no. Notice how I said dynamic?

A larger Gargoyle fits the description of 'like a lfying Trygon' since a Gargoyle is like a mini flying Trygon.

Now now, I was only going by Codex descriptions...

The fugliest ting you could do is a Tervigon with Wings, probably.

I am really not seeing things, do you mind pointing it out? I even looked through the other pictures on the GW site. I don't see any kind of strap on the Scythes.

Having checked it, it doesn't look anything like a stroller, baby carrier, a baby high chair, or even the backpack style carrier.

What units? I was just referencing all the sorts of things that a baby carrier could refer to, those literally were not differentiated names for warhammer units.

I don't much like the ork flyer to much though, it's not really..Orky, I mean it's so streamlined, it looks like something IG could make.

I can only assume he refers to all aircraft as baby carriers, since they all have cockpits, and that's where the Necron pilot is sitting in the scythes.

I think its the lack of any glass over the cockpit, it gives me a baby toy vibe. One of those ones that have the harness and the wheels?

Only thing I don't like about the Ork's crafts is that they only have armor 10 all around. Now some of thier special rules could mitigate that I supose, but we will have to wait and see.
