Hello Everyone!

I'm proud to present a new GT that will be run on June 15-16, 2013! The website for the event is http://www.killadelphiaopen.com/

The KILLAdelphia Open is a Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament presented by Stomping Grounds Games and Hobbies. There are going to be lots of great prizes provided by the store and by our sponsors and all players who enter will receive a free gift bag full of tons of stuff from our sponsors. In addition the winner of the event will receive an invitation to the 2013 NOVA Invitational Championship!

FORMAT
1850 point NOVA Invitational event, 6 round tournament (3 rounds being played on each day). Rounds will be 2 hours 30 minutes long. There will be a 64 player cap on the event. We will be using missions from the 2013 NOVA open mission packet, the final 6 missions will be determined no less than 1 month ahead of time and will be posted for your convenience. ARMIES ARE REQUIRED TO BE PAINTED.


COST
$65 per player, this payment will be non-refundable. Payment can be made in-store at Stomping Grounds or with a paypal payment to matt@sggamesandhobbies.com (if paying with paypal please include your name, number and email address)

Additional Information
Food will be made available by the VFW Hall at a cost to be determined by them. The VFW Hall also has a cash bar available on site. Players will not be allowed to bring outside alcoholic beverages into the Hall.

Say I wanted to come in from out of town.. think you can make a small list of reasonable hotels/motels in the area?

I will post up some hotels that are close to the event a little later for any out of town. There is a few options that are all reasonably priced

I'm going to try and convince a few guys to come down with me to this event too. Looks like it's juuuust far away enough and starts just early enough that we'll need to get hotel rooms, which makes it a tougher sell. Should be able to rustle up at least a couple of guys though.

Hey guys tournament is starting to fill. Wanted to bump the post to keep everyone informed. If anyone has questions don't hesitate to post or message me for answers to questions!

I'll be helping out at the event too! I'll be assisting with the paint judging and also setting up a first aid station for anyone that travels with a complete model and unpacks a broken one. Glue, pinning, touchups as needed or requested and I'll bring them back to your table.
