Ok, I need some advice for an upcoming tourny. I am not afraid to use DA/Wolves codex if needed.

thats a lot of tac squads you have there, normally ally so you can get something that your main army cant do well you have a heap of LC and you are spending 325 points into 1 raider, those points might be spent better else where, even 5 BA terminators with a Priest, 2+ armour 5+ FNP and a 5+ inv, the srg in the ASM can dual melta pistol if you need more punch in that area, or even stern guard with combi meltas i have found to be very useful.

LRA isn't an assault vehicle so Tyberos isn't going to be getting into combat any time soon. Blood Angels have both several choppy HQs and can take scouts, so the allies part of your army seems a bit wasteful tbh.

You have a lot of bodies, but not really not much ability to put out the hurt. Or speed to move out and take objectives (apart from the Storm Raven).

I was about to say, a BA list with no mechanized ASM or 10 man bloodthirsty jumpers is heresy my friend, and i would soon be having to contact an inquisitor if you had decided to stick to just tacs. Good choice :3

why not move the pod you have for the Devastators to a tac squad?

it seems that time is ticking away

have you thought about :
mephiston or corbulo, those are both really good

over here we see a lot less melta so the value of AV13 vehicles goes up especially behind an aegis (predators)

a furioso in a pod is also nasty (flamer or melta+frag)

corbulo could be a wise choice my brother runs him against me for the simple fact he's a bitch till kill unless you assault him with a 8+ str or managed to some how shoot him with something to ignore his 2+ fnp. plus if your storm raven doesn't come on turn 2 use him to change that ;D

That seems like an awful lot of tactical marines. Just saying.

I know, my in my meta people have problems with foot lists, so thats one reason.

Would it be better if I used the points for 1 TAC squad and 1 SP + leftover for some Assault termies?

I could get 10 Assault TDA w/ 10 TH/SS.

To be honest I used termies in BA lists and hated them I found the death co to be a fun unit. And lord knows a dual blood talon furioso will mangle just about any infantry in the game.

I would love DC, but DC w/ JP is way too expensive on points. I can give give the Termies FNP with the 1 priest, and they can deal with MCs too.

As for the Blood Talon dread.... I don't have one

I think Blood Talon dreads are rather meh due to delivery issues.

Yeah, since 'Ravens aren't good transports anymore Blood Talon dreads took a hit. AP3 hit 'em hard too.

Any thoughts on the Assault Terminators?

Assault terminators live in land raiders. That's the way I see it.

Now, I will relatively frequently use teleported shooty terminators in drop lists and use the locator beacon to not scatter. Give them heavy flamer for the win in 6th edition. BA shooty terminators with FNP are close to vanilla TH/SS for plasma survivability. They still die to TH/SS terminators, but you just have to be aware.

When were Stormravens ever good transports? Certainly not 5th.

There are many lists where you can get away with a drop pod blender dread. Many lists cheap out and lack good ways to quickly handle AV 13. However, I've also fought lists with 30 fire dragons. You'll be glad you have the fragnought there because all those fire dragons just die before they can melta you.

The "freeze frame" turn for assaulty troops arriving by drop pod doesn't sound so bad until you get in an actual game. I personally find it maddening, and people who try it against my lists find that my BA still pack plenty of melta.

Ok, no bat rep, but I did try the list out. Got rid of half an assault squad and the Devastators for a Fragnought. I played against Ravenwing. Sammael, Hammetnators, shrouding landspeeder and plasma cannon + lascannon devastators. Got Vanguard Strike and stayed away from the PCs. I almost tabled him T3. However, his speed gave me alot of trouble. He was INSIDE my gunline T2. Any suggestions? I have until Sunday to change it up.

I think it sounds pretty solid to me, I would just run with it as your time is running out. I have a Ba army too but its kinda similar to yours at mine seems to work ok (apart from I made a few silly decisions which in later games wreaked my list XD).

How bout getting a corbulo instead a normal priest? hes got a 2+fnp.

Drop aegis lascanon for quadgun and get corbulo to man it. hes got bs5
