So now SR is an alien invasion, superhero game? Wtf. Looks cool though. Not sure if it is at all the same game but whatever.

I think some sharks need to be jumped.

Also, I laughed my ass off at the dubestep gun.

There was a sonic cannon in saints row 3. I'm not too impressed by the dubstep gun. It's all flash the kind of thing that you will pull out and play with then toss back in the back of your weapon's locker. I do rather like the super powers though. I kind of think that for next game they should take that and run. Don't even bother calling it saints row just make a really fun super villain game.

If I remember correctly they sent an email in their company asking about the things they could include in the next part and someone put this as a joke.

As far as sounds goes I'm unhappy with the one at the end of mayhem. I loved the music at the end of the activities / missions in SW3. I wish they didn't change them but that's just a minor thing I guess.

Good things are good,.. so it's good

A smile crept onto my face when the dudstep gun started to fire... It might be more like Saints Row 3.5, but I'm actually liking it. I didn't find the third game that awful actually, so if this is only improving on the areas that were lacking I'm all up for it. It may have started out as a piece of DLC, but it looks as though I could roll with it being a full game. =)

I liked SR3, but apparently that makes me an r-tard according to a certain member of this forum so I probably shouldn't say that out loud.

SR3 was ok. Wasn't as good as SR2, but it wasn't terrible.

Needed more customization though. In SR2 I remember being able to do all sorts of crazy stuff. Oh, and it wasn't quite as funny. Over-the-top-what-the-buggery works well with some games (like Blood Dragon, Bulletstorm, etc); SR3 was not one of those games.

I didn't like SR3. It just sacrifices actual humour for braindead stupidity.

Saint's Row 3 was a downright awesome, 9/10 game. I had MUCH MUCH more fun with it than I ever had with any GTA game. It was just over the top, but the combat was fluent, the cutscenes were amazing, the characters were funny and interesting, the customization was awesome, there was so much to do besides the stories, the music was amazing...goddamn, that game was one of the best games I have played in the last decade.

...and SR4 might be just as awesome or even crazier than the third part of the series. I am extremely excited for it.

Yeah, I like silliness but SR3 was just crap. I get the feeling they're just doing all this gak to cover for the fact that they can't actually be bothered to update the graphics, or expand the gameplay, or write a decent story.

Still, some people will buy anything.

You're in good company, my wife and I both enjoyed it. Granted it wasn't as good as SR2, but it was fun

While I'm sure I'll be called a heretic, I'd say SR3 was in almost every way better, barring some customization issues.

I think if they keep going the way they are going, then they will find a good game again. It just won't look anything like saints row, so they will need a new name.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. This.

Why not just make an entirely new IP instead of screwing up a perfectly good one? Oh well.

Sad but true. It's the reason a lot of crap exists longer than it should.

How the feth people can call SR3 "just crap" when EA's still vomiting out call of duty clone-clones on the market, I will never know.

It's the same way people called fallout 3 crap. A follow up to a beloved game that radically departs from the establish formula. It might be a good game, but everyone is too bun hurt to appreciate it because they keep going over how it should have been done.
