Edit: oh yeah and they're €13.50 don't know what that would be in other currencies.

Confirmed by this leaked price list:

Yup. A very very dark Space Wolves grey that is (closer to old Shadow grey than old Space Wolves grey).

13.50 Euros, so about $18/£12 after rounding up.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

O hey look ones called " The Fang" neat!!

Also farther down the page the Chapter of space marines cost a whopping 10,000 Euros , seeing as I think this is a German price list using "der" and what not.

Damn Ninja's.

That release list photo comes from the same source website that was mentioned in the thread that was closed down earlier today for suspicion of being fake and was on the page that sparked the controversy here on Dakka about authenticity. Personally, I don't think it's necessarily fake, GW once had a "buy a whole chapter" bundle many years ago, it was $5000 US at the time. Given their love of their new one-click bundles I have no trouble believing this is a real thing.

I only ever met one person who bought the $5000 chapter bundle and if only a few people buy the new one it's still a win for GW. Besides, looking at massive deals like that is fun and it often inspires people to buy more items even if they can't buy the super-expensive bundles.

I'm looking forward to the new Citadel Spray paints, I've been using spray paint to get armies base coated quickly for nearly 20 years.

It's a shame the Chaplain is the only brand new model in that bundle with the Command Squad and Razorback, I think they'd sell a lot more of those if there was more than one new model in the package.

Does anyone have any proof for this earlier chapter bundle?
What was supposed to be in it?

The 10k chapter deal is the kind of thing that gets people talking. It doesn't mean they expect to sell the fething thing. It's like the Saitns Row 4 US$1m "ultimate collector's edition". It's called a publicity stunt/gimmick with a side of "Well, if someone wants to actually buy it, great!"

On the bright side, if they do end up selling the one-click chapter deal..

...all they need is 10 quid's worth of plastic pellets and to get some random minimum wage warehouse guy to run the machines for a few hours.

Followed by 3 hours of drinking champagne and laughing at the person who bought it.

I think these expensive 1-click deal do in fact get bought.

Pester-power from the children of very rich people could easily lead to a sale... the chapter deal is just gunning straight for the millionaire's kid market is all.

There is a significant percentage of the population (around 1-3%) that can in fact casually afford to buy stuff like this due to standard capitalist wealth distribution. Chapter deal is pushing it a bit, but is well within the realms of an xmas or birthday present, when you consider that a lot of rich kids typically get bought new cars etc. and a new apartment when they graduate.

And this isn't even something that would be considered extreme by the standards of the wealthy, £10k is not that much when you realise that some people spend £100k+ just on their pets each year.

I think GW is realising that they've just about reached the limit of price rises and is now pursuing alternate revenue streams such as "how can we sell MORE product per wealthy customer?", which is what the 1-clicks represent, a method of encouraging the purchase of far more stuff than the buyer will ever use before getting bored with it/ wanting a new army etc.

It wouldn't surprise me to see a line of premium pre-paints sold to cater better for the "want it now" market. I mean, a chapter is all well and good but it takes time to assemble and paint... whereas if you can sell that pre-painted them someone might buy 3 chapters.

Question is, will they be a good match with the pot colours?

I know from experience with the last lot of colour sprays they did, that you couldn't use the then pot colours to touch up mistakes, because they sprays were a bit lighter in colour.

Apparently from what I have heard they sprays are EU only, but all I have on that is hearsay and cannot guarantee its authenticity.

The EU only thing could be that since it's a pressurised spray it can't go airmail, so no mail ordering it from elsewhere

That wouldn't prevent them sending it by sea to major fulfilment centres (eg in the USA for distribution to the Americas)

Well I was told that there is some reason that makes shipping aerosol cans problematic, although I haven't ruled out the possibility that I was being had.

I would actually buy that (or in a squeezy tube), it's not really suited to use from a pot.

Yeah I was joking at first then I thought how awesome it would be to have it in a squeezable tube with a really thin needle applicator on the end (something like revel/humbrol plastic glue) and it would be the perfect way to apply it before finishing.

The spray can version would be more for the Amurikan market - you know for their podgy sausage fingers and that whole labour saving mentality.

Aww, show the Brit some love, Alphy. He probably stayed up half the night, drinking Earl Grey, to come up with that one.

Vallejo model filler comes in one of the same little squeeze bottles they use for their paints. It's great stuff.

Good spot, never seen that before.

I've been using the very good but very toxic Squadron stuff.

I used that Squadron Putty for years and you're not kidding, the odor from the toxic fumes is literally a killer. It's a good product, but a bit nasty. I mostly use the Vallejo stuff now and occasionally the Liquid Green stuff.

I find the Vallejo stuff tends to shrink quite badly so while it's ok for scratches or similar anything bigger is not to hot

Squadron Green is great but the Toluene in it is just so toxic I can't cope with it

The army painter sprays are very good primers and they have paint pots which match the primers, I use them often. Even the very old original citadel colour sprays never had matching pots or the ones during late 3rd edition.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

Yeah, Army Painter pretty much owns this territory. It helps that the matching paint pots are actually really high quality paints and are cheap too!
