Well, they do have to completed kickstarters:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2087444096/gnomish-adventurers-box-set?ref=users

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2087444096/dwarven-adventurers-box-set?ref=users

They aren't elves, of course, but there are both greens and painted models for each. The dwarves appear to have shipped already, so the guy seems to be on the ball.

Now showing Catachan Jungle Fighters and World War zombies!

Painting total as of 30th November 2025: 136 plus a Deva King statue

Painting total as of 12/31/2024: 107 plus a set of modular spaceship terrain and two walkers and a quad mech and five giants

The Dwarves and Gnomes are completed and shipped. Very good translation from art to model.

Also, you can check out James Wappels blog on the final look of the models (http://wappellious.blogspot.com.au/search/label/Stone%20Haven%20Miniatures)

Their two previously completed Kickstarters have shown they are more than capable of delivering quality miniatures.

I'm especially looking forward to this campaign's Troll - the last two were fantastic!

Now here's an interesting update, with some greens too!

Update #9

Elven Illusionist! Greens! Scale!
Comment

Maybe, if we ask really nice... he'll perform a trick for us.

The Elven Illusionist has been added to Luthwaine's Caravan Adventuring Party! He can also be added to a reward level for $5. He's been added to the COMPLETIONIST reward level too.

Up Next...

At $37,500, the Elven Sorcerer can be added to your reward level for $5. He will be automatically included in the COMPLETIONIST reward level when reached.

Following Close Behind...

At $42,500, the Elven Necromancer can be added to your reward level for $5. She will be automatically included in the COMPLETIONIST reward level when reached.

Scale Shot

Surprise! We got some samples back today (after I mentioned in the comments that I didn't think we would have any today - thus the rush job on the image to have it in the update). We should have a 3/4 view up on the main page later today.

Hopefully those pics help quell any concerns out there!

I really like both of them, one of my friends doesn't like the lanky-ness but I think they are elves... not human.

Correct, they're elves, not gnomes given the same amount of material spread over a larger frame. I won't go into depth here (I've left the details for the KS comment section) but I hope this trend doesn't continue throughout every model.

NOTE: I am the aforementioned friend.

Hmm... after looking at that again, the torso is too long (or more likely the limbs are not long enough)

I like the other 2 still

The issue is mainly in the legs and where the hips lie. A traditional breastplate is far more rounded than how long it is on that model, but again, the issue could be solved by lengthening the legs and not making them so spindly. The knee guards do not help this as they bring attention to the disparity between the arms and the legs (which by this model are roughtly the same in length.

You cut of the model at the tip of the tunic skirt and bottom of the breastplate (removing the unnecessary filler cloth and beef up the legs so that the proportion issue between arms and legs isn't so noticeable.

Yeah, this does seem like the best outcome. I also would have liked tall and medium sized elves. Not shorter ones

More Stretch Goals!

We are introducing mini stretch goals! No, we don't expect you to actually touch your toes.

First up... Now this is a fun story. We were going to surprise everyone with a stretch goal at $35,000. But, then I got bored of waiting so I made this.

And I was all like, "Look at how funny I am being... ha ha ha.. everyone is going to be like 'LOL! Isn't that Petra, so hilarious! She'll be at the next party we throw for sure!'" But then... after I finished the graphic.. poof! this happened:

My humor was thwarted again! So.. anyway.. we have for you...

The Elven Scout can be added to a reward for $5! His adventuring party awaits in the shadows. OooOOoooOOOOO!!! He's been added to the COMPLETIONIST reward level too.

Then we have the Kitsune (which I have been told doesn't look ugly like most shifters!)

At 500 Backers, the Kitsune can be added to your reward level for $5. Her Adventuring Party awaits in the shadows. OoooOOOOooOoOOO! She will be automatically included in the COMPLETIONIST reward level when reached.

And finally we have... Drum Roll Please!

That's right! Every $1000 (starting at $36,000) we will add one musical instrument bit to Luthwaine's Caravan adventuring party (which means it will also be included at the COMPLETIONIST reward level). We'll have the pricing for these as an add-on up in the new add-on price spread sheet tomorrow.

After we have worked our way through the musical instruments, we will continue to use these mini stretch goals to add additional Bits & Familiars.

We should also have some new greens for you all to see tomorrow! Thanks for all your support! We really appreciate it! Maybe if you all are real good... I can convince Mike to get in front of the camera again and say Hi!

I'm still hoping that they will be some sort of Troll this time around too!

The gnomes to be fair are still shipping a little... some of the normal back and forth you get (missed parts or extras added on). That being said, the customer service has been great, that's what I appreciated the most from these guys (even more than the cute models... yes, cute is the right word)

Ok, An update.

Stretch Goals Reached!

The Sorcerer is here and he's making his Clint Eastwood face!

You can now add the Elven Scorcer Add-On to your reward, by increasing your pledge amount by $5. His Adventuring party League of Cyn'Thark will open up after 2 more elves are unlocked! He's been added to the COMPLETIONIST reward level.

The Kazoo musical bit has been added to Luthwaine's Caravan.

The Trumpet musical bit has been added to Luthwaine's Caravan.

Up Next...

At $40,000, the Elven Priest can be added to your reward level for $5. He will be automatically included in the COMPLETIONIST reward level when reached.

And more musical instruments!

Troll Rock Chucker

We expect that by the end of this Kickstarter that your troll will have some companions (wink).

Greens & add-on spreadsheet will be up tomorrow. Sculptor had a few things he wanted to finish up & refused to take pictures. If they aren't up tomorrow, well then I'll be a monkey's uncle!

We know you guys do a lot, but keep spreading the word to all your "friends" & enemies!

Excited that this campaign's TROLL has been revealed, and more excited that MORE Trolls are being hinted at too!

Also - title updated.

Happy Monday! Looks like you got your very own priest to heal your wounds in all those epic battles you keep fighting. You also got yourselves a Harp. Exactly how are you going to drag that along on your adventures? Maybe you have a shrink-a-ma-thingamabob?

You can now add the Elven Priest Add-On to your reward, by increasing your pledge amount by $5. His Adventuring party League of Cyn'Thark is unlocked! He's been added to the COMPLETIONIST reward level.

The Harp Musical Instrument bit has been added to Luthwaine's Caravan.

More Mini Stretch Goals!
4 comments Like 7 likes
We have some more mini stretch goals for you!

The Grippli are small, primitive creatures, Standing a little over 2 feet high (13 mm to the eyes), they live in tribes in tropical swamplands. Despite their lack of technology, they are quite clever and devious. We're excited to hit the goals that will allow us to add the Grippli Hunting Party to the League of Cyn'Thark and the COMPLETIONIST reward level.

For those of you who backed the Wooden Promises Kickstarter, you may recognize the Grippli with the bow. As Nigel Phillips said in the comments of that kickstarter "...anyone who backs the Elf project and is a backer of [Wooden Promises] can receive a free grippli figure." If that is your situation, you will receive a free grippli with bow mini in your reward.

Keep being awesome!

Foxy Lady! Greens! S.B.A.D.!

How do you get that foxy lady in your life to agree to go out with you, rather than leaving you with a black eye? Something about, "I wanna live in your socks so I can be with you every step of the way," my not cut it with this lady!

You can now add the Kitsune to your reward, by increasing your pledge amount by $5. She is included in the Adventuring party: Strymian Thieves' Guild (which will be unlocked after 2 more from her adventuring party join her). She's been added to the COMPLETIONIST reward level too.

Greens...

Up Next...

At $47,500, the Elven Female Fighter will be added to the adventuring party League of Cyn'Thark. She will also be added to the COMPLETIONIST reward level. And! She'll be able to be added to a reward level for $5.

Tricksters obsessed with arcane knowledge, these pixies seek artifacts of great power to strengthen their clan. Despite their cuteness and diminutive stature (approx. 14mm to the eyes), they can be maliciously violent against those who wrong them.

Following Close Behind...

At $52,500, the Elven Infiltrator can be added to a reward level for $5. He will be added to his adventuring party after he & 1 more elf from his adventuring party (Strymian Thieves' Guild) is unlocked. He will also be added to the COMPLETIONIST reward level.

At $57,500, the Elven Thief can be added to a reward level for $5. She will be added to her adventuring party (Strymian Thieves' Guild) after she is unlocked. She will also be added to the COMPLETIONIST reward level.

Did you scroll all the way down here and feel all warm inside? Well, get ready to have your insides burned to the core with WARMTH! Because it is Stonehaven Backer Appreciation Day! What? You say, such a day doesn't exist? It's a national holiday in all of Stonehaven (you should have seen the party the dwarves & gnomes threw!) Well... you still don't believe me? Well... Believe me now!

Stonehaven Backer Appreciation Day!

Kral's Champions has been added to the COMPLETIONIST Reward Level. Kral's Champions is also available as its own adventuring party. That should tide you over until Monday.

I can't wait till we have a Petra Appreciation Day! It'll be Glorious!

Their version of Elves is turning out to be a bit too thin for my tastes.

I'm still in for the Druid and maybe one or two other, plus the Troll of course!
