What it says on the tin. I'd probably say mine's the new tactical marines set (tbh the old one was also my favourite as well).

Oh, double that on the Ork Nobs. You get a lot of bang for your buck from that kit.
And what Jim said, the Kabalites are great, even if I dislike having to put on their bums separately.

The various Space Marine infantry sets as a combined whole. I love how all the parts fit together decently well - with some modification needed in some cases, as some of the torsos have their pegs reversed.
I just love all the different kitbashing opportunities to make unique models with very little time spent cutting up parts and greenstuffing.

Pretty much any Space Marine infantry set these days. The Sternguard kit is so chock full of extra bits I'd say it's a must have, even if you don't plan on running Sternguard.
But even the Tactical kit has extra heads, weapons, and dozens of accessories.

I'll throw in a third vote for the Ork Nobz kit. It's relatively inexpensive and you get a TON of extra options and bits after you've assembled the 5 nobz the kit was intended for.

I really love the Riptide kit. It's very customizable - incredibly so for a kit of its size. It's really fun to put together.
Close second would be Deathwing Terminators. I love that kit, particularly the knight build options. So much fun stuff you can pull off with just a little work.

Dreamforge Eisenkern stormtroopers and soon the Dreamforge Valkir when they're released. For GW kits, the new SMs and stern/vanguard are much better in a number of ways.

The Tactical squad, new and old, are both amazing kits. My current 40k project with Ultramarines is largely an experiment on pushing those basic SM kits to the absolute limit of what the parts allow and having no two models the same. Every pouch, every grenade and every one of those extras that I have taken for granted is bring used, and the truth is, even with minimal cutting and gluing, you can do a hell of a lot with the kit.

That being said, I finally got around to building my BA dreadnought over the weekend and I was very impressed with it. Awesome base, great options and the kit fit together like it was supposed to.

Space Wolves kit, no contest. The sheer amount of variation you can get out of that kit is just ridiculous - they've got two-handed bolters, one-handed bolters, bolt pistols in a variety of poses, chainswords in a variety of poses, plus special melee weapons and about a thousand separate heads you can use. For a kit that's supposed to have options for three different units, it's damned impressive how much stuff is in there. My only gripe with the Wolves kit is the fact that they have nothing but plasma guns/pistols for special weapons, no meltaguns as I prefer to run.
