This hurts my.eyes, in a way I would never have thought would be good. Seriously, that bright pink hurt through my phones screen, but I love the painting. The colours work perfectly, and altogether it reminds me of late 80s early 90s comic book creatures.

Like this is just beautiful and perfect. Others may not like it but I love it. It looks like 3D Vector art.

I have a question in regard to this style of painting would the Cell Shaded look be applicable to other colors, for instance instead of black something like Dark Green on White or Neon Green on Black etc..

Basically colors other than black and pink as I don't want to copy.

Looks great. I might have considered painting the tails of the under-wing beasties green rather than pink for some more contrast, but think it works this way too.

Nard's 'nids are famous. If you like this, check out his pics in the Dakka gallery to be buried in a veritable landslide of awesome. His collection is as vast as his scheme is striking, if not even more so.

It looks crisp, yes, it looks clean. But it's got too many black borders for the lighter tones. It looks like it's straight out of Borderlands 2.

That said, I've seen your other work and you have done as good a job as always with this.

Thank you all for your comments. It's always a joy to post on Dakka. My Nids appear to officially be out of borderlands......but that is because I am actually the guy with the mask out of borderlands

Anyway, who is looking forward to forge world making this new gladiator Nid thing as seen at the open day? I hope they also make some harpy bits for alternative builds
