Not where I should be

Excellent work, tones and style are brilliant, nice job.

Unfortunately the moldline on the head needs to be sorted dude, we all miss them, but thats a bad one. Would be a shame to leave it as the model is such a great job otherwise.

Not where I should be

^Exactly.

Some really nice models there. And it is the little bits that make it special and unique to you that makes this hobby so brilliant. I know things can be done cheaply, and somethings cost ridiculous amounts, but in real terms do they, I bet it cost less than a pack of beer, which would last you maybe a couple hours, where this model will give you joy for a very long time.

Look forward to seeing what you do with this.

Not where I should be

Good to see you, nice additions to the collection, look forward to seeing them develop.

Ah terrain, don't get me started. Looks like you have gone all out on it. Well any questions, I have a bunch of friends (League of Extraordinary Rivetters) and we run competitions for terrain, between us we have a wealth of knowledge and ideas, be sure to keep me posted on how you are doing and any questions you may have.

Well that is a great start bud, really nice natural feel to it, good tones, though could go a bit more scorched in the craters. Grass is looking brilliant, nice little touches.

To add to it, maybe some small tufts of longer grass, but certainly not necessary. You will possibly save for further build, but a tree stump might go well.

Brilliant work bud, you want to enter the next round of the LoER comp. Always lots of hints and tips there.

Not where I should be

Great little haul of materials.

On heat tools:

I have this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HOT-WIRE-CUTTER-FOR-MODEL-MAKING-CRAFTS-DEPRON-EPP-POLYSTYRENE-NEW-/132205816079?hash=item1ec814a90f:g:dpoAAOSwnDZT33o5

And a normal cheap soldering iron, which I modified the tip on, the one you have shown is a little pricey because they are labelling it "craft" and you are getting a bunch of tips you may or may not find useful.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/60W-60-WATT-ELECTRIC-SOLDERING-SOLDER-IRON-c-w-FLAT-CHISEL-TYPE-TIP-STAND/361190790366?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D555018%26algo%3DPL.SIM%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D43782%26meid%3D67969ab5d7124cd490f160a7cea9597b%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D151217227129

I also have one similar to this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Butane-Gas-Micro-Blow-Torch-Lighter-Welding-Soldering-Brazing-Refillable-Tool-UK-/112235824629?hash=item1a21c6c5f5:glsAAOSwnHZYT9U0

Hope that helps, it is not exhaustive and there are are many alternatives out there. Others may have some better options.

Not where I should be

It is important to not let this become a chore, take your time, let the force flow. And more importantly don't worry about it. Life gets hectic. Things get in the way. You will be sat down with a grin on your face soon enough having finished and wondering what is next.
