I love this. Especially your first mini.

Unlike yours, my first painted model was an Eldar. Funny how that worked out...

I like the subtly converted Archon. Gotta love those reaver heads.

I like that idea with the Harlequin masks. Perhaps my 1kSons could use some...

I love them, but the jet bike seat seem off somewhat. Maybe try sculpting some pillars on it or something.

Where did you get those storm guardian swords from? They'd make great force swords.

That's your painting comp entry, right? How long did it take you?! A day?!

I actually prefer your one, especially the top knot. I do agree about the mask though.

Hey man. I'm about to embark on the Eldar road myself, and this thread is (as always) a great inspiration. But tell me, what torso is your Howling Banshee based on? I love the banshee fluff, but hate the new minis heads. So I'm gonna build my own.

Those are... PERFECT INSPIRATION FOR ME! THANK YOU!

Awesome stuff as usual.

Holy Terra.

VC Banshee, maybe? With a farseer head?

Like this

Thats the best photo editing I can do, sorry, but I think it shows some potential. You'd just need to replace the torso with something more eldary, maybe just use a guardian torso.
If you decide not to do it I'm stealing it back.

Aww yeah can't wait to see your Wraithblades done. They're such kickass models.

Well, my next project will be an Eldar army (for 8th) and most of it will be wraith constructs, with a few bikes and tanks mixed in. In fact, i should go order them now...

Looks cool. I have plans for a converted Wraithlord (stay tuned for that) and some of these things make me want to do a whole Croneworlder allied detachment.

Where'd here rifle come from. It looks awesome!

On a side note, my Eldar stuff just arrived!

All I really want are plastic spiders and hawks, the scorpions look great as-is and it'll be hard to top the old OOP banshees.

That's pretty cool too. I like your choice of helmet better.

I love your outcast, I might steal it of you don't look out...

Actually, I'll probably build my own. What bits were used?

My thoughts on the word "Aeldari" are to have it be a little like the english word "gun". The word can be written as "gonne" or "gunna" to reflect the original spelling, "Gunnildr". So Eldar is the common word for the species, but "Aeldari" is more similar to the Eldar's own spelling.

Disappointment at how the current Craftworlders disregard Khaine's true purpose - god of murder?

Yeah, they're just like SJW. Khaine being the god of murder doesn't fit their propaganda.

It is.

Would you mind posting group shot(s) of your entire project so far? I'd really like to see how your armies progress.

Oh, and I need some craftwordlers too! I've got fluff written and ideas formed, just need to make some models and/or paint them (my Storm Guardians are the first lot). As the models are a little hard to make creepy/grimdark I've sort of gone a bit hard with the fluff to make up for that

Hah, that's exactly what I'm doing with mine. They may or may not have a certain someone (whose name starts with "A") messing with them, but then again that might just be another trick. Tzeentch definitely has something planed for them.

I do also have some other vague ideas for other groups of Outcasts as it's such a varied thing to explore, and a few neat ideas for something to do with Biel-Tan being fractured (two ways I could go with that: battered and worn refugees and/or vengeful nomad fleet like if the Quarians from Mass Effect were xenocidal warmongerers). Someone also mentioned that it would be a damn sweet idea to try and make some craftworld citizens, but in the usual was of bending them to be slightly more grimdark and alien than you'd expect from your usual interpretation of Eldar.

You could add the Biel-Tan ones to your Ynnari. They could be a group of survivors that blame Yvraine for the death of their craftworld, but decided their best course of action is to join her followers and wait for the right time to strike. If you want to, you could make those your citizens, as I'd imagine many of the Biel-Tan survivors wouldn't care about their former paths and just kinda drift off into the jaws of hesheit-who-must-not-be-named. Just make an eldar architect and I'll be happy.

Ooh, that's a great idea for a another warband: some sort of massive slave trading vessel. Maybe akin to the Imperiums black ships: the Eldar run around finding psy active humans and sell them to the DE to use as experiments. Why not through together some slave traders?

I love that axe guy! His tattoos are amazing, and its a great way to use those awesome wraith guard axes (I built my guys with blasters and kinda regret it).

Great job! Those ynnari are some of your best work, and that's really saying something. The paint job is great, altough it could use another highlight on the masks to make them stand out.
