SPECIALIST DETACHMENT
If your army is Battle-forged, you can use the Specialist Detachment Stratagem below:

Like it. I'm guessing hellforged aren't included because they already have warp/daemonic energy powering them?

I am glad you like them, they are obviously pretty simple but I don't know if that's a problem, it's more or less the effects marks had previously in the game. I'm not sure if hellforged were excluded in 7th because I don't understand the wording of the limitation but I assume they were excluded so I added the limitation here as well. It's also partly to avoid having a super-heavy which might be harder to get rid of having the same buff.

A Mostly Renegades and Heretics blog.
GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units."
Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.

I believe that may be because the units currently referred to as hellforged in 8th were referred to as infernal relics in 7th. They were allowed the legacy of ruin traits. And super heavys could only be played in apocalypse games so that wasn't a problem iirc.
