Also glad that my converted Brute will more or less fit alongside them (https://yaktribe.games/community/media/ogryn1-jpg.35130/full).

No offense to the new models, but honestly, I love the way your model looks even more

I can't wait to see what options these guys will get, head wise. Or what FW will come up with to give them

Worth noting that the two on the right have the same torso, and the blokes on either end have the same left hand.

The warhammer Instagram posted a pic showing off more of the ogryns. One head is very closer to FW mad dog mono's...I can work with that. They even have the same color scheme.

Options are:
Augmetic fist
Arc welder (fist plus the back coil)
Spud jacker
Storm welder

Helmeted ones are lobo slaves

I knew that head looked familiar...

Not big on the Bane-zerker model. A bit lower quality than past FW Necro models. Looks more like something that you'd see them make for FW. Maybe with a different head and swapping out that weird left arm of his would help.

Hahaha. Yeah. There’s a lot of cool art for them but they are rather behind.

I'm still waiting on the Batman-like Van Saar guy to drop. And the Master-Blaster Cawdor guys.
But Necromunda, despite the sloooow release of models, has been fairly consistent in releasing models. Given that these guys(gals) have artwork, I'd be shocked if they never see the light of day

The top one's head gives me strong Gyrinx vibes. Maybe its a distant offshoot

Mutated Ogryn. Is that the Traitor Command Ogryn, or a conversion?

They use the TC ogryn as an example of one. Amboy is converted slightly, sump beast is body of a sea king deep mare mount with head of a karibdiss.

Any chance you could post pics? Sounds like a cool design

Wow. Both look really great.

Funny that they say the Ambot has skulls from the Citadel Skull set, when the "head" is actually a Master of Possession's staff

I feel like that rumor engine with a pitchfork/prong with nails in it is for Cawdor. Their special weapon will be an extra long stabby spear. The better to reach those hard to reach fliers.

And that is what the Centurion should have been...

People would hate it for the same reason they had the Scout-Dreadnought and the Grey Knight walker. They hate suits which leaves the pilot "exposed" and looks like a baby carrier.

Having 360 the models, I really don't like the random spike on the chest of the archeotek guys. It just seems really unnecessary and more of a nuisance than serving any practical reason

The female Orlocks being one set was a pleasant surprise, though I'm sure the price won't be.

Not sure what to make of Rat King with Heavy Stubber and Candles, but at least he's got an old school Cawdor mask going on.

I was honestly expecting them to be in one set. They do release single models every so often, but its usually named heroes (and even then, there's usually a chance they come in packs of two.) Hopefully the Orlocks don't cost more than the Hive Scum set, which is $31 or $35, I think?

Well, as others have said, they're on par with the Hive Scum, which is decent pricing, in terms of FW.

But why is Rattus $30? Is he that good of a model, sculpt wise or rules wise?

Wonder why the guy whose job it is to dive into the water and help keep everything in order is covered in water jugs? Just to flex?

I love these guys. The Guild I was looking forward to the most. Can't wait to see them unpainted. Now I may have to pick up Slagmyst, he'd go well with them

He’s not important enough for filigree; functional equipment only. As for the jars, could be pressure reservoirs for whatever hydraulic system powers the suit but, yeah, sticking out like that is kinda silly.

They're also not very secure. He's already got one broken.

Maybe the suits run on water? That would explain all the jars.

As for the diver, they mention how they always keep their suits on, so my guess is they are water breathing mutants and they open the suits when they go underwater.

In the Liber Xenologia book that just came out, there's a section dedicated to abhumans. Apparently, there's a strain of humanity that adapted to aquatic life and can breathe basically any liquid, even tar. They've got super hard skin, gills, etc. Though they wouldn't need any big suit, since they could probably get by disguising themselves as just the regular fully armored guild members. But I do like the idea that whatever is piloting the suit isn't your average human.

There's also whatever E. Slagmyst got turned into. A water vampire, that's more or less controlled by his sentient suit.

I don't want to get too deep into this conversation, since I feel like mods will quickly silence it (for obvious reasons.) But as an American, I was completely unaware of the Spain tradition of pointy hoods, UNTIL FW recalled the Cawdor executioner and people on here were talking about it. I hate the new heads, but I completely get the need to get rid of the pointy hoods. It also doesn't help that these guys have nooses on their belts and also an affinity for burning. :/

Escher and Goliath Upgrade sets (Not FW?)

I hate how GW double packs these sprues these days. There are only four unique heads, not eight, etc.

They started doing it with the primaris upgrades too. But I guess its useful to fully load out a unit...

Love Makalev, perfect for an inquistor's retinue. Though will he be a nightmare to assemble...?

I hope the brute has a second head option. Nothing wrong with the current one, but I preferred the artwork. (Scarecrows for the win; and it matches that bounty hunter)

But... where's the fourth arm?

The one grabbing the tactical rock?

It looks like one of his legs his bent behind him.

Took me a hot minute to work out the pose. Didn't realise it was running, thought the lower right arm was the right leg. Now that I understand how it actually looks, I'm wondering what happened to the pilot's legs

They really should have taken a better photo; I think most people assumed that was a leg on the rock. Knowing its an arm makes me less concerned about the leg positions though. And I wouldn't put it past a necromunda gang to saw off their friend's legs to make them fit in a suit better

What kind of guns are on display in the market?

Long gun is the Hrud Fusil

Spoiler:

Short gun is the Rak'gol razor gun
Spoiler:

ooooooooooooooh

Looks like they're not glued down to the table (they're facing the opposite direction on the other table, and the dual knife is seen elsewhere). Looking forward to the conversions

The artwork they provided looks like he's wearing enforcer armor, which fits with the renegade theme. Though, he's missing a hood

I can't believe they didn't acknowledge the xeno weapons in the terrain article. Recaff mug is more important, I guess?

Just realized how great Bigby Crumb would look with the market place. Looks like he's sold out on the FW site, but hope he's not gone forever.

Whoever painted Deacon Malakev did a great job. The freehand on the book is good, but how they painted the magnify glass is genius

I'd love a kroot bounty hunter, even if it was just the model from blackstone fortress. If we can get a beastman bounty hunter, Kroot should be ok
