I really think alot of the weathering in the angles on the armour is pretty top notch, and it's a great model.

The mud on the tracks looks pretty... Unrealistic? Could really take this up a notch perhaps with a review there, you seem to have the skills. (if it's the artists choice then fair enough )

Great job - you’ve done a classic kit justice with an excellent update.

One question - how much fun were the joins on both tracks? The filling/sanding of those put mine on hold for about 15 years...

Great job finishing her off rob, the weathering on the hull is pretty cool. Nice one!

Yeah to be honest I don't have a clue what I'm doing when it comes to weathering. I just made it up as I went along. I realise the mud on the tracks probably isn't realistic but I also wasn't aiming for realistic, just an effect. I'm also going to move onto other things like the Tavern/Inn I've had in progress for nearly a year now!

To be honest they weren't that difficult. As I wasn't aiming for any sort of ultra smoothness or pristine look I just put a load of "gloop"* over the joins, then took a thin sanding stick to them to smooth it out a bit, took about 10 minutes. That actually worked better than disguising the "cut and shut" with "gloop"!!

*gloop is pieces of 20thou styrene melted in Tamiya Extra Thin Cement.
