I'm currently working on my 2000 point Tyranid swarm list of all flyers. I managed to get 1k points of it done for this match.

I'm using Hive Fleet Kronos.

My opponent saw my horde and was scared of moving forward. This is was his mistake, because he didn't attempt to hold the objectives on turn 1. He stayed in his deployment zone. This allowed my to completely control the battlefield for primary and secondaries.

Many times players misjudge what an opponent brings because they drop context on first view. This was a classic example of this.

This is the second game I've played with Armor of Contempt (My first was last week with my 120 genestealer horde list). I like Armor of Contempt. It patches a lot of the codex creep that has been going on. It allows power armor players to play more models on foot.

The final score was 67 - 33. Tyranids Win!

My opponent should have been more aggressive.

I liked some of that terrain. Good to see streets and a "ground car" in there.

Also well painted models and cool choice with the all flyer army. If I had to fight a 9th edition tyranid army I'd probably be tempted to stay in my deployment zone as well!
