Worth mentioning that they confirmed via FB or Twitter(I couldn't find the exact post referenced on B&C) that buying a full carton nets you all 8 plus an extra of the aiming bolt rifle figure.

Personal opinion:
I think Ynnari have just as strong of a theme and potentially as strong of an aesthetic, but the main issue is that Ynnari don't have the nostalgia factor that Exodites seem to have nor do the Ynnari currently have their own dedicated units aside from a trio of characters while the Exodites, again, have that nostalgia factor of things that were.

Of that trio of Ynnari characters? Only the Visarch is the one that we know is supposed to have a "Ynnari" aesthetic. In one of the video VoxCasts that they did, Goodwin had made reference to the aesthetic of the Ynnari being exemplified by the Visarch's model, being less spiky than a Drukhari but still a baroque piece showcasing the way that the old Aeldari Empires had things looking, with the Ynnari elements being the sculpted motifs and the like.


With all that out of the way? I feel like Exodites are likely to happen at some point, but I'd rather see the Ynnari get some fleshing out before we bring the Exodites in--even if it's via Kill Team.

On the other hand, the games have enough Space Elves in already - gief moar Space Dwarfs, please and thank you.

It would be cool to see the Ironhead Squats get ported out of Necromunda into the League as well, given the League's resurgence into the galaxy at large!

If preorders through the webstore aren't paid by end of day Sunday? They get cancelled on Monday morning, around 9am regionally.

GW shops usually get sent half of whatever the independent allocations are, just a FYI.

At least here in the US, I guess I should make that clear? More often than not, for these "hot ticket items"? The allocation is "zero" for GW shops to put on the shelf.

I'm rather disappointed that the Servitor is locked on a sprue with the Autosavant.

What a missed opportunity to finally release a Servitor for AdMech Enginseers!

We run in wildly different worlds for AoS, I guess. I've seen a lot of hype over the new Stormcast on social media stuff, since it's basically a "Chamber Heroes" set allowing for you to build a Lord-Castellan in Thunderstrike Armor(lantern+halberd), a Lord-Relictor in Thunderstrike Armor(hammer, skull mask, extra goodies), and the various event only Knight-Questor models/loadouts that people might have missed(I know that I never was able to get the Shadowstrike model with the glaive as it was a store anniversary model that C19 cut off).
The previous WarCry sets for the season also didn't sell out immediately.

It feels a little bit more like some people are treating KT sets almost like stocks right now, much like Black Library novels.

As opposed to the KT sets with upgrades that can't be used or are ignored/skipped over? Kasrkin can't even take a sergeant with a hellgun in 40k proper, despite it being a build+roster option in the kit.

They've been doing better this season with WarCry to AoS than they have with KT to 40k, in my opinion.

I feel like there's an untapped market for "GW preorder shortcuts! Guaranteed!" guidebooks...

Also feels like Ashes of Faith was meant to come out sooner.

Personally, I think the Aeldari bit is being overblown for the first box.

Remember that the teaser was careful to emphasize that it was for the next season. WarCry has been giving us faction symbols for the past few seasons, this might be something to look forward to for KT.

I remain unconvinced about the Striking Scorpions or Exodites being part of the launch box with Scouts.

Especially since this is making the rounds on B&C:


IF Scouts truly are the Marine half, and it's playing into something that has been poking up in the lore? Raptors would make the box look very bland with Scorpions.

This might be an unpopular statement, but make sure that you load up a virtual voucher for the GW webstore if you seriously want them. If it follows the pattern of the Kasrkin?

They sold out online in about 5 minutes and haven't been back in stock. Some shops may have had them but no one did when I was in the US in July.

They've been back in stock multiple times. Unfortunately though, they're a wildly popular kit for conversions...meaning they go out of stock just as quickly.

Matters aren't helped either by people throwing them up as a "must have" for some armies because of the new edition.

- Craftworld Scorpions

- Scouts (box with scorpions, confirmed today)

The composition of the next two boxes is unknown. It seems that after Craftworld vs Scouts (mid November) they expected next box to be sold by the end of December, but we don't know if this will finally happen.

The third box will come mid-end Q1 2024, and by mid-end of Q2 2024 new Kill Team 3 will be announced, expected official date for release by August/Sept (completing 3 year circle).

KT3 will simplify some rules (line of sight, obscured, climbing, among others). It is unknown if they will sell a Compendium for all the KTs by KT3 launch or the same rules will be used. It is unknown the new KTs for the starter box of KT3.

KT hability - you can buff at the beginning of an activation i.e. you can reroll, +1 attack, + circle movement etc.

So new Scorpion models confirmed.

They called the Striking Scorpions as part of a multi-Aspect Kill Team three months ago, which adds a bit more credence to their claims...but it could also just be a lucky guess.

They did not, unless there's been an update, call out specifics of who goes with what. They outright said that the composition is "unknown".

Octarius wasn't "his" rumor originally. It cropped up on B&C from someone else long before he ever started talking about it.

There were grav-chutes in "Guns of Tanith" that could be used as pseudo-jump packs, they might just be running with that.

I'd expect Night Lords, if there's truth to this rumor, to get some kind of "signature unit" via an upgrade sprue.

Ehhh...Scions fit as a great, distinctively IMPERIAL unit. They're really let down by the paint job and insistence of the dumb loadout for the Tempestor Primes.

Elysians would be a great Kill Team, an opportunity for some very nice poses and special rules with the drop chutes.

This isn't WarCry, where they take risks. Whatever's coming has to end up fitting.

I'd rather see an updated Veteran Guardsman KT than an Elysian exclusive one.

Scions have not received a bespoke Kill Team. They came with Ashes of Faith as part of the ancillary forces for the Inquistion Warband.
