Since I am fielding a LatD army, I don't have the option to give my daemons a better chance to appear from reserve by fielding the sacred number.

A LatD Imperial Guard vehicle can take any upgrades from its parent codex, meaning one could take Improved Comm, allowing it to reroll a roll to pull something from one's Reserve.  In the CSM codex under Daemon Summoing it says all daemons are placed in the player's Reserve.  This could be interpreted, thus, as saying a LatD Imperial Guard vehicle with Improved Comm (call it a warp amplifier or whatever) could affect a daemon's summoning from the player's Reserve.

I am under no illusions that GW ever intended (or likely envisioned) this combination, but as the rules are stated, it seems they might be able to be interpreted that way.

Thoughts?

Yep, it's a reserve roll, you can reroll it with improved comms...

Just envision it as talking with a cabal of sorcerers that give you a boost of power to summon the daemons
