OOC: Quit whining, you didn't miss anything...your still technically on the surface where we were fighting last...We've got Syrath but the employers (or that other guy, the daemon prince) is probably what you need to be concerned about...

Me and Lucian are just indisposed of for the time being...y'know, every time we pass you up doesn't mean we've totally left Shas on the other side of the galaxy...

Lucain and Bel'tyan where sucked into the warp and the Farseers dead, you Hunter and the Dark Eldar are preparing for war against the Chaos marines and Dark Eldar. And Shas, I can't just pause the RP when your gone.

Arrius pondered his next course of action. Divining what future would serve him the best. Cut of the head and the body shall die! The old proverb rang in his head, as if whispered to him by a familiar voice. No. That does not always run true. The Employers are like the Hydra. Kill one and the others will become more powerful. Destroy them all, at once, and there is a chance they shall fall.

The great Daemon Prince stared down at the Herald of Tzeentch

"I shall require your aid once more, Daemon" Arrius mused "You must contact the others. So that we can eliminate all of the Employers in one fell swoop"

"Lord Arrius! Lord Terik has sent us a message from the Realm of Syrath, Syrath is fighting the Eldar and a Daemonic Space Wolf. He killed many of the main guards but the elite still remain, we must hurry quickly and destroy the Employers before assisting Lord and Master Syrath. The 1st, the 5th and the 9th War-Legions are approaching the planet and are ready to unleash a hell storm of fire once they arrive, and what of Coraks and his spies! Shall we awaken the sleeping axe of Syrath yet?"

The Daemonic messenger bows to the Daemon prince, a simple imp creature with several Imperial Dog tags as a necklace and a short sword tied to his waist.

"Fine, I'll summon what I have. But I'm quite short at the moment since my horde joined that of Trixxaris the Purger on the world of Monticge IV, but my Horrors can create one hell storm of a fire."

OOC: Sorry, but it always seems that I have to fight all the wars, but never have an epic fight with Syrath, an Employer, or have a huge effect on the plotline...

... and you could just not have big parts where a major character turns into a daemon while I'm gone...

Kais had watched Bel and Lucian get sucked into the portal, but had been stopped when he had tried to follow.

"Kais!" Atlas said, pulling him back. "We can't go in there, we don't know whats on the other side. It's too dangerous!"

"No!! Every time I try to get him, he runs! Always! Not again!" Kais shouted, struggling to break free.

Shas crashed into the warp, he looked up. The sky was a dark green, lighting strikes hit huge spires of bone and metal that surrounded the fortress while Daemonic guards poured in and out. Atlas followed but the portal closed behind him, almost slicing him in half. Fury daemons circled the skies and soon spotted the pair and screamed at them before diving down towards them.

"I told you this was a bad idea,"Atlas says, wielding his splinter rifle and firing into the midst of the oncoming beasts.

"I am sorry, but we will need to finish this, even though this may not be the best way to do it," Kais replies, taking precise shots with his rail rifle, almost getting decapitated by one of the flying Daemons.

Atlas uses his Shard Carbine to cut down the Daemons with ease, and the Shas'O's cannon destroys them with percision shots. The gates of Syrath's massive fortress, the Daemonic hordes of the saint emerge and begin to march towards them.

"Syrath! Why do you send your minions towards us, when you could face us yourself and at least keep a shard of honor!" Kais shouts, already firing his rail firlfe, taking down many a foe with each shot.

A herald of Syrath stands at the forefront of the horde, he raises his right hand to stop the Daemons from moving forward and rides towards the Shas'O on a dark hoarse of green fire. He stops only inches away from the Tau and Dark Eldar;

"Why do you come here? To the saints holy realm, do not defile this place with your heresy!"

Beltayn looks over the scene...it chills him to the very bone, he sees the lost soulstones hanging above fiery trenches were daemons torture the souls of his kin, it is almost too much for him to bear as he begins to shake. He stops himself as his hands go to the swords sheathed to his back. Something catches his eye amongst the ruins of his kindred in the field...

He sees many body sized constructs of wraithbone and at first he thinks they are statures; being calcified and inanimate. But as Beltayn searches amongst several of the shapes he sees that they are nor statues but actually constructs of his people. Rows of derelict wraithguard bodies stand amongst the bones of Syrath's enemies. Bletayn grins as an idea forms in his head...Syrath's arrogance and his own trophies would be his downfall...

Beltayn moved quickly and lithely down to the trenches, drawing both swords, holding one in each hand as he went. The first daemon didn't know what hit it, neither did the second, by the time Beltayn had hacked the third in twain though, the daemons of Slaanesh, his kin's greatest foe, had noticed him and laughed as they launched their assault. Beltayn dipped into a fighting stance and braced himself for the flurry of blows that was to come...He prayed a quick prayer to Khaine to give him strength for this battle.

A single daemon skittered in with its repulsing flesh and tried to slice him in an upwards diagonal swipe. Beltayn deftly strafed about the figure and with the momentum brought one of the swords down in a cleaving motion that cut the daemon in two. Another daemon came at him, this time high, Beltayn jinked to one side but he was caught off guard by the speed of the daemon and its cold blade grazed his arm. He winced but brought his other sword around and cut the daemon int two at the waist. Beltayn was a flurry of blows and parries as he dispensed the daemons one by one and afterwards, bloody but unbowed, he panted hard and leaned on his swords, thanking the powers that be that he survived and sheathed the swords on his back. He got down on his stomach and fished the chains of soulstones out, feeling the quaking terror of the souls inside them.

"Be calm now, you will have your vengeance soon." He whispered as he took as many soulstones as he could find and snuck into the graveyard of the courtyard. One by one he placed the soulstones into any whole wraithguard body he could find with another prayer that this would work.

"Rise my kin, rise and serve retribution on those who wronged you in life! Rise up from the grave and be the incarnation of death!" Beltayn shouts victoriously as he sees life from the souls of the stones fill the bodies again. They begin to move and grab their weapons, shaking the sediment which had clung to their bodies and stomping forwards, surrounding Beltayn. The shrieks of the daemon guards filled the air and Beltayn unsheathed his two great swords, marching forward and taking his hood off to reveal his long face and silver hair.

"For our people!" Beltayn shouted as he charged forward with squads of wraithguard behind him.

These where no normal Wraith Guard, they where constructs of both bone and sorcery and marched towards the foe with no fear. Firing strange weapons that tore the Daemons of Syrath asunder while Bel'tyan sliced apart the other Daemons that where left behind. He gloriously lead his kin to war against the forces of Syrath the Immortal, the Wraith Guard and Bel had soon made their way to gates of brass and Iron that read 'The Treasury, Syrath and the 13th only'. The Wraith guard took aim and obliterated the door way in seconds before marching in to the massive room, hundreds of thousands of golden, silver and brass items littered the floor while chests filled gems and jewels sit atop mountains of gold. Several large Daemons turn towards the Eldar and run forward and draw their spears;

"Destroy them all! FOR SYRATH!"



Lucain was thrown across the devastated courtyard, crashing into a stone wall and rising only to be slammed into the ground and crushed against a wall. Syrath sneered as Lucain grabbed his Frost axe and slammed into Syrath's staff which fired a long green bolt of energy that forced the wolf to the ground, Syrath laughed as he grabbed him by the torso and smiled;

"Such a waste, of flesh! HA HA HA HA H...AGH!"

Syrath dropped Lucian in shock as he slammed the Frost Axe into the Daemons throat, he attempted to pull the blade out but Lucain is all ready on him and slams a Melta-Bomb cache into the Daemons stomach and jumps and away as it explodes. The Daemons flesh explodes leaving charred bone and ash, Lucain roars with fury. He has defeated Syrath, for know.

Lucians howl rips through the fortress with an almighty rumble and he begins to move twoards the massive double gates....

The Daemonicly infused marine smashes through the gateway, Daemons turn to face him and charge forward. He slices several apart with his blade but soon the numbers grow and grow as Daemons man turrets of fire and magma. Lucain is soon forced into the center of the Courtyard and is hopelessly surrounded until a voice rips through his head...

Unleash me!

Beltayn leads his troops into the armory and the scape devolves into carnage as wraith cannons boom and cut down daemonic guards in swathes while a few are consumed in daemonic fire but continue to fight anyway, flames bathing over them. Beltayn ducks under a fiery blast which hits a wraithguard and kills it, toppling the rest of its form over. Beltayn crawls and grabs the wraith cannon from it, saying a prayer for the lost soul and returning fire viciously. Soon the guards are cut down and swept aside or retreat.

"Spread out and look for anything powerful or important, we must find something in this fortress that will bring Syrath low! We will show him that no being in the universe is immortal!" Beltayn orders his wraithguard to spread out and examine Syrath's loot.

A long blade sits atop a pile of gems, it is chained and covered in thick ice. The Blade shakes as a Wrath Guard approaches it, the ice around it melts and it floats into the air and explodes into a new being. Bones and flesh form into a massive Blood Letter who roars and grabs the blade that reforms. He is clad in brass and iron armour and has four horns and black almost soulless eyes, he snarls and charges towards the Eldar with utter rage;

"I AM BLOOD REAPER, ETERNAL HERALD OF KHORNE AND CHAMPION OF SYRATH! I SHALL PROTECT MY MASTERS TREASURE TO THE END! "

Lucian understands and lets the daemon inside him burst forth, and he soon sets about into his foes

Lucian rises into the air, his flesh bubbling with power and rapidly mutating. Massive wings similar to that of a hawk emerge from his back while his legs twist and his armour melds into his flesh, he turns to the Daemons and charges. Crushing and tearing through several while firing bolts of warp energy at other beasts.

and this is what i was talking about in the first RP when i said that daemonic corruption shows in a Wulfen form.

Lucian hacks his way through the daemons in his path only heading for the room that he can smell beltayn in.

The Wolfen Daemon crashes through the masses of beasts, insect like daemons rush at him; manibals rapidly closing and opening as they approach the Wolf beast. He quickly slams his foot into head and snaps it's broken body in half before moving out of the courtyard into the next area, as he does so Daemonic creatures begin to rise throughout the realm and begin to move on Lucians sent, eager to cut him open. Lucian however is already in the armoury after following Bel's scent and finds himself under attack from a vicous herald of Khorne.

(OOC) I'm quite tired after just getting up, sorry for the quality of my posting. And I like this Dawolf thing, another meme in the RPG along with the dictionary of Tyranic Marta.

Lucian growls and grabs a nearby spear from the wall neatly blocking the heralds swing, his rretailiative thrust however is not so easily knocked aside and the spearpoint sinks deep into the heralds shoulder.

I think we are going to have to classify Lucians Wulfen form as a sort of daemon prince form, thus as i am making a new daemon prince in the next few days i will have pictures up of exactly what Lucian will look like, suffice to sayu that he has a pair of thick multi jointed insectile legs with a pair of powerful arms and Eagles wings if neccesary

The Daemon falls back but does not stop and slams his blade into Lucians gut before twisting it and slashing his chest, the Daemon roars in fury and brings out a large flaming mace that he slams into the ground and rears back before striking at Lucian again.

So Lucian should have a Daemon Prince profile as well, for combat measures mainly

Lucian contemptuosly blocks the weapon with the tip of the spear and propels it backwards over the daemons shoulder, a sweeping blow backwards caught the daemons neck and then a swift jab slid the weapon through it.

Wrenching the weapon free Lucian hefted it and grinned with an evil daemonic smile, searching for the eldar in the room.

I see, Slaanesh powers and abilities along with a mixture of bestial forms combined.

Bel and several strange Wraith Guard stand in the center of the room amougst the piles of gold and silver.

Indeed, Ive always been a slaanesh player (My dakka title should render that obvious) and the lash prince with wings is my favorite HQ of all time.

Lucian moves forwards towards the wraith guard and shrinking back to his usual form, the spear he is amused to find, shrinks and morphs into his sword.
"I have mastered this daemon Beltayn. I shall never be ble to return to my home... but I have mastered it. permission to follow you in your path?"

"I am here to find Syrath, and fight him. Our qaurrel has made stars cease and lives faulter. It must all stop, I am here to make it stop. Finally."
