Umm, well chaos is the combined emotions of mortals mainfested into dark gods within the warp. The Gods like to use mortals in their bid for supremacy over the other gods by harvesting their required resource.

Khorne= Blood, war
Nurgle= Rotting?
Tzeentch= Being elusive and mysterious, creating plans
