Heya All; Here is a 'watered down' version of my WIP project of a scratchbuilt/kitbashed Gargantuan Squiggoth. By the way, his name is Loodo. (Due to his Loodo-esque jaw line). I hope you all like what you see. Like I stated above. This is the 'watered down' version of the entire thread that can be found on the-waaagh.com forums. C&C welcome. Thanks Darkfather

holy crap, i looked at the first pic and went "Bah! thats not squiggoth material, thats a shiny toy dinosaur!", and then I went through and now panning from the first pic to the last, it's like a different dino altogether, incredible work.

Heya All;
Thanks for the kind words everyone.
The modelling clay used to cover the skin, and mold the face and legs, is a product called DAS. I have used it on a few different projects and the results are quite good. From the skin/features on this Squiggoth, through to making a tarpaulin/cover for a WarTrukk (think army truck with the green material cover over the rear).
Thanks

Seriously nice job. I, too, had less than high explanations when I saw the base item. taking that fan-like shield off of his head was about the best move you could have done. The sculpt-work is near flawless. I love the usage of the small rocks on his torso.
When painted, I looked at it & thought the neck was too long. Now that it is complete, I have changed my mind on that. It's splendid, as well.
About the only think I could say about it is that I wish you'd taken the time to clean the join lines on those turrets mounted to his side.
Still a 5-star job in my book!

I saw the first picture load and thought "Oh no, not another dumb kid using cheap toys in 40k."
Then the other images loaded and my jaw dropped. This may very well be the best conversion I've EVER seen.

Nice. Such an awesome looking conversion, maybe can you take a pic of it with your entire ork force? Nice touch with the "fist of gork" (at least I assume its gork's ) on the tail, perfect for smashing da' humies!

This is what's traditionally called threadmancy. Digging up a two and a half week old thread to post something of zero substance is rather unnecessary.

Nah- it's not hard to say somethiung a bit more substansive then "neat" or "I like". How about "I like the way you painted the red" or "the shading is excelent on his tooth"?

All this thread seems to do lately is attract pointless posts that pull it up from the depths. :p So, to stop that silliness there's only one solution!
