Scratch what I said before, I just woke up, didn't have the codex at hand either.

I'd lose the extended carapace on the Broodlord. That way, he can act as a wound sponge for the genestealers. You might want to consider bonded exoskeleton on the Carni's instead of extended carapace.

I was planning on seperating the Broodlord from his retinue during the first move so that I can use fleet on the stealers. I will check into Bonded Exoskeleton for sure. Other than that, look ok?

I don't think you can separate him from his retinue. If you plan to do that, why not just by extra stealers as a troop choice?

I just looked over the Independent Characters rules and you are right...he can't leave his retinue. I will definately lose the EC.

The Hammer

1) Barbed Strangler AND Venom Cannon is illegal on the Warriors. I'd go x2 devourer x1 venom cannon on them if you want to use them for a spot of shooting. Warriors also HAVE to pick two bioweapons, but I BELIEVE that they can get twin-linked from a second gun.
2) I'd make that dakkafex (quad devourers) a gunfex (venom cannon, barbed strangler, +1 W, +1 BS)

When soldiers think, it's called routing.

1) The Broodlord isn't a very good HQ choice. Since he cannot fleet his unit is usually too slow to reach combat before being shot to death. In Alpha level games (where they can't infiltrate) the entire retinue will amost certainly never get anywhere near combat.

If you decide to take the Broodlord, his retinue should be kept to an absolute minimum. This should be done to maximize the chance to keep the unit out of the enemy's line of sight (and thereby infiltrating closer to the enemy). The larger the squad, the harder that is to do. Also, in Alpha missions a smaller retinue means you've put less points into a unit that isn't going to play a part in the battle.

2) Warriors are pretty terrible and they're even more terrible at shooting. The Barbed Strangler for the extra points doesn't really provide you with anything a Devourer doesn't (except the increased range and a chance at pinning).

Overall I think you'd be much better off dumping at least one unit of Warriors and taking some Zoanthropes instead. They provide the same benefits (Synapse and shooting) but Zoanthropes are actually more resilient to enemy fire and have a more versatile shooting weapon (able to kill troops and tanks).

3) Genestealers should always have extended carapace. It makes them twice as durable against the most common weapons in the game (bolters, lasguns, etc), and more tough in combat aginst basic attacks.

I would also recommend taking units in an even number (8) where possible, as either way 5 casualties results in the unit losing its scoring status.

4) You will be much better off taking Spinegaunts (Gaunt with Spinefist for 5 points) over the Termagant. Gaunts are mainly to bulk up the bodies in your army and Spinegaunts do that better than anything else in the Tyranid army. For example, you could take 22 Spinegaunts for less points than the 19 Termagaunts you've taken and they'll likely end performing exactly the same in a game.

5) Extended Carapace isn't a very good biomorph for Carnifexes since the most common weapon used against them (Lascannon, Railgun) ignore the 2+ armor save anyway. You are much better off taking the +1W option, which will *always* protect your Carnifex no matter what. If you haven't read my article on equipping Carnifexes you might want to take a look (its in the "articles" section of this website available from the top toolbar).
