My question is this

would it be possible to make a  Warboss and a Shaman out of ONLY the contents of the ork warboss boxset?

I'm certain you could. Aren't there two minis to a set? One of them would have to ride a piggy, and for the Shaman you'd need to find something magical looking for him to hold, or maybe even make a knobbly staff out of a stick. You could GS a robe, but that isn't totally necessary.

It would be pretty hard to get a good looking shaman out of the plastic set. One of the bodies does have a pelt over his mail, so that one might be the cclosest along with the naked head with a missin toof and eye. Some extra bits might make him look more shamanic. Maybe the banner head thing off of the chariot along with some other banner shyte may help you out. The Orc Boyz legs with the kilt might make him look less well armoured. I was pleasantly disapointed with the Orc Warboss box. He was a lil weedy for my tastes. I ended up straightening his body up a bit so he was taller, put one leg on a helmet, and gave him a heroic pose to make him a 40k nob. Gunna hafta get a metal Boss now. Poot!

I actually think that this could be done. Looking at those scans it seems you could make a staff with a really stabby/choppy suprise on the end out of the spear. put him on a rock or something to stop the blade going over the base and add some sort of skull to the other end. then give him one of those weapon arms so he gets an additianal choppa and give the boar guy a magic axe and sheild.

It will work
