An update without photos currently.
Yesterday went to Osaka for a game and got some bits I needed. Now every squad has the necessary 2 special weapons and I need to find somebody around here that collects Storm Troopers too to try trading 2 more salvo guns.

The MRAPs advanced a bit from the prior post. Added some windows and need to work on the details and weapons of the prototype as I build a second one. The third and fourth will have to wait a bit.

After only 9 months or so since I started it I finished my Judicator from Warzone Resurrection. At this rate I'll have a full brotherhood army for the 2nd coming of the Cardinal!



All that blue highlighting has giving me some pointers to clear some Infinity minis that have been on my to do list for a real long time.

Long awaited Warpath Ks finally made its way to my grubby hands. I currently have 3 squads plus assorted specialists from the Operation Heracles set built half painted but I find myself wondering what I should do with the last enforcer squad. Built it as assault enforcers, regular or heavy support?

Spurned by the Crowe and his Battletech posts I decided that it was about time to finish some Steiner mechs. As you can see according to the tactical handbook of the Lyran Armed Forces this lance it's dangerously underweight for a medium lance, containing one of the local built battlearmor suits AKA Commando.

Back to Warzone I got some Brotherhood troops out of the way to follow the Crucifier into trouble. With some marble effect that didn't end up that well.

After some posting hiatus I return with some hobby images. First the new additions to the grey plastic pile.
A generator from Microarts Studio, a couple characters from WZ Resurrection, some cheap mantic plague that was on sale, and an Arkanaut Company from GW.

I like your Brotherhood models. I have a few of those on the to-do pile myself. The grey looks cool on the troopers.

Manuel the illegal alien thought his job at the Interstellar Crowne Plaza in Tau Ceti was a great gig and the tips great. The the real aliens arrived and seeded the world with the zombie virus.



A quick build using some spare pieces and green stuff for use in a Warpath or 40k zombie horde. The paint job is also very quick and dirty.

And another corporate wage slave zombie joins the pack. Officer Forest was real fond of abusing the local whores down at the arcology's shady floors until one of them bit him back. Then everything went down the drain and now the arcology is under quarantine.
Not a good day for officer Forest.

Really should inspect the whores better , never know what you'll leave with otherwise .

Those are some interesting variations on the usual zombie tropes. I like the red bellboy jacket in particular.

I started with some spare IG bodies I had around and then thanks to some Mantic living dead pics the ideas came to me to use some GS to make them different.

It's been a long time since the last time I picked up a brush. But today I finished a Cyclops mechs (sans the base as usual) and hopefully tomorrow I'll clear the other three mechs of the lance.

Finished the lance in Crucis Lancers colors. From Left to right: Enforcer, Dervish. Cyclops. Jagermech.
I also dug out some half painted mechs in desert camo that currently are taking a bath to remove all the dust. These will be, hopefully, be done in the next few days.

Spurred by the moment I decided to get my battletech minis into new storage and for the 1st time took a group photo. Left are the OP forces in various house colors. Right my mercs in their desert camo, I need 8 more mechs to finish the first battalion.

Another mech finished. Merc Vindicator from the box set with some changes to the arms so it resembles the metal Ral Partha version.

Not a big update but I'm really impressed how nice the GW plastic bases paint. It was mostly automatic while watching videos on youtube.

Love those EDD cybertronic walkers - great model, great color scheme. Seeing all the battletech hex maps brings back a lot of high school memories. How about some better pics of the "Wraithguard"?
