The new codex states that Pathfinders (and Harliquins for that matter) are able to ignore difficult terrain.  It did not specify if they ignore it only for movement purposes or if they ignore it for LOS as well.

Is there anywhere that this is clearifed?

?Difficult terrain? is defined only in regards to its effect on movement. Whether terrain is Difficult has no influence on whether it blocks LOS. Most types of Area terrain do also happen to be difficult, but whether they are Difficult or not has no bearing on LOS.
