"You are correct, but I would not have the nerotoxin kill the Eldar Tibrus. We can make our way... It is up to the Eldar and his allies if they follow."

"So are we just going to wait? We could go and fight the Daemon, he knows we are coming. Why do we not find him and end its foul existence? We simply have to leave the hanger and I'm guessing there is equipment for your Eldar friend here."

Beltayn shuffles around the cabin and eventually finds a rebreather mask which he puts on and tests.

"The daemon seeks to invade the Webway of my kin. I cannot allow him to do that. I agree with your ally Lucian, it is time we ended this." Beltayn turns to the Shas O' who has donned his helmet.

"I am sorry Shas O' but I am afraid this is where my employment to you ends. I must help my people and stop Syrath, the fate of empires hangs in the balance and we are the only warriors in the position to stop Syrath."

(lets wait for Kais... He should be a part of this.)

Yeah, now remember how I mentioned two characters would be returning. Anyone guessed who they are yet?

Marius and Mikal? Thier armour/chassiss are in the fortress are they not?

Maybe, but Syrath keeps them in eternal torture. He does hate them, and has them fighting and killing each other constantly.

Slowly the imperial progressed through the town with stealth that had been put to test time and again over the past year, finding an abandoned warehouse Auvian sat on a dusted over desk, 'This will have to do for a place to rest tonight' he whispered quietly. With all hope he could rest here for a few days and continue on, Emperor knows, he thought, these men could use a break

The soilders rest, the entire room full of crates and old machinery, the troops lie on old blankets while the Inqusitor watches the bleak sunset and the rise of a ghostly green moon and the howls of a wolf.

"I understand, Bel'tayn, . If I were in your position I would do the same. I need to find Atlas. He is one of my greatest friends now, and wherever he is, I think he needs me," Kais replies, raising his rail rifle. "I wish you luck in what you go to do. And, Lucias? Give him one from me, for Marius and Mikal."

The Drop Ship takes off, leaving the gas filled chamber and moving further into Syrath's Realm. They fly over hundreds of factories and weapon shops that constantly churn out new machines, the drop-ship soon flies over a massive arena where two Warriors battle but shakes. The Drop Ships right engine is struck by a cluster of missiles and begins to mpnose dive, within seconds the Drop-Ship crashes into a spire over looking the arena.....

"Bel'tayn? Lucian? Is everybody all right?" Kais asks desperately, finding Bel'tayn, and helping to bring him to his feet. "I advise we all get out of here as soon as possible. There will undoubtedly be Chaos soldiers sent to get us. And the ship doesn't look too good either. Come on, lets go!"

Beltayn comes to face down on the ground, around him the remainder of the dropship burned, its armor and inner parts having been thrown this way and that in the collision. He raised his head dizzily and tried to make sense of what happened, the last thing he remembered was getting a shouted warning that they were going to be hit and then spiraling in the air until the dropship impacted something huge.

Beltayn was helped to his feet by the Shas O' who talked to him, it seemed like from down a long hallway, distantly. Beltayn tried to shake the shock of the crash from his ears and stood up, dusting himself off, he was shaken but unbowed. He looked about, the wraithguard lay splayed out as well, most of them were able to get up but a few lay broken and twisted amongst the rubble and did not stir. Beltayn retrieved each of their soulstones and then rejoined the gathering group. He nodded at them.

"We may be down but we are far from out, I agree with the Shas O', lets go, Syrath is close."

One of the Space Wolves is shot several times through the chest, Loke's carcass is pushed away by an arriving Chaos marines who gun down the Space Wolves and knock out a dizzy Lucian. Shas takes a direct shot to the chest by a tall Chaos Space Marine, Hunter who fires another shot that tears through Bel'tyans shoulder.

Beltayn's eyes dart as Chaos Marines materialize around the group before they are able to leave and gun down some of the space wolves as well as Shas.

"Its an ambush!" Beltayn has time to yell before being hit in the shoulder and going down with the others. He holds his shoulder but looks up at Hunter who leads the chaos marines, an anger like not other fills Beltayn's veins.

"You, you traitor..." He says wincing from his shoulder wound

Hunter grabs the bleeding Bel'tyan by the scruff of his neck and raises his pistol to the Rangers head;

"Lord Syrath, we have them under our guard. What are our next commands my lord?"

Hunter eagerly awaited his masters commands;

[/Bring them to the beast chambers, time for one heck of a show!]


"Yes my lord, now bring these whelps to the beast pits and kill the Space Wolves except for the large one. He will be the guest of honor at the arena."


The Marines nodded and dragged the unconscious creatures to the pits.....

Lucian, Bel'tyan and Shas find themselves chained to the walls of a dark chamber. Several burning braziers that flicker with green flames and energy, Chaos marines stand guard at each edge of the chamber.

Lucian growls hungrily.
"IM GONNA RIP HIS HEAD OFF!!!"
He slams himself against the chains making the wall flex.

The Chaos marines laugh at Lucian as he rages. Beltayn himself scoffs at them. He looks around him at his surroundings and examines his chains as he speaks.

"Calm yourself Lucian, I am sorry about your brethren and I know how you feel, Syrath took my close friend as well..." He said sadly. "But you must focus, we all must focus, we still have each other and we can still get our vengeance..."

The Chaos marine guards continue to laugh at them, one looks at Beltayn.

"Hah! And tell me, Eldar, how do you plan on destroying the saint of Chaos from your shackled position?"

Beltayn looked the marine in the eyes and gave him a hateful look. "Oh, you will see soon, I promise you that much."

Chapter: 7 The Arena of Syrath

Event: Brother Against Brother, Wolf Against Wolf, Blade Against Blade


A blazing horn awakens the prisoners who are dragged from their chambers towards a massive steel gate, they are thrown onto the cold black ground. Around them are millions of daemonic spectators who cheer for more blood to be spieled in the arena of Syrath the Saint, and atop a massive spire stood the Daemon himself who raised his right arm and smiled. The crowed became quite as he stood up and spoke;


"My loyal servants, minions, allies and friends I bring you another night of entertainment in my arena! These fine Warriors even fought in my realm just to find little old me, isn't that just sweat. Now you see I'm really contempt with a game of good old Chess but today I thought that I should see out of all my foes who can become the greatest warrior here. I pit against them many challenges and old foes to see which one will survive, lets see shall we?"


A Large Dreadnought emerges from an entrance at the side of the Arena, its armour blacked by blood and damage but its all to familiar to the Shas'O and Lucian. Marius the Champion, now a foul and ancient contestant in Syrath's foul game and beside him Marius. A shadow of his former self, another gate opens to allow the Sorcerer Kremlin and Hunter emerge along with a bloody Atlas and Talon.



"Well this is going to be fun isn't it ladies and gentle daemons? I'm sure I have mortal guests and some others but that's when it gets complex, I'm serious I have over a hundred books with the names of my servants but anyway since this is a special night I thought as well as having takeaway food I'd let my guests choose a single item from my lovely private room. I love to collect things, your broken bodies included but now lets get ready to fight!"

The Tzeentchian Daemon looked up at Arrius, before uttering a final message.

"I shall send you to where you are needed most, Great One..." the Herald's facial features morphed themselves into what could be considered a smile.

Arrius felt his body fade from the materium, ebbing out of reality. However, something was different. His form was not amongst the currents of the Warp as he had expected. It had stopped. He could hear a loud roar. A roar which surrounded him. Suddenly, it dawned on him. A realm he was all to familiar with. He yelled at the Gods and cursed his master. The noise grew louder. He was not supposed to be here. He was not needed here. Within the heart of the Employer's Fleet, was where he had been expecting to materialise. The roar suddenly stopped. It had been silenced. A presence, one he could identify, had entered his location.

Arrius was no longer disorientated, and he could see clearly where he was. The centre of an Arena which was a reassuring sign to him. He saw his master, and let out a deafening roar of approval. At that moment, the crowd went wild with cheering. Their champion had returned.

[OOC: Have fun with that blood reaper. I'm sure you'll be able to find some way of fitting Arrius into this part of the story. Just be sure to give him a grand introduction ]
