aye childe... the design lacks a bit in the detail department... but if i would do it it would be a plasticcard thingy and then it would look better i assume^^

ohoh... i see a SM hate reaction coming up... and for my own thoughst... SM...all good and well... but true heros are those that battle odds so high that tackling them turns out a loss most of the time... a SM is way too winning to be considred a hero for my liking.... whereas a guardsman that still fights regardless the odds...that is heroism... so a SM gun is less because it can do more... and an IG torchligh is better because it is essential gakky... strange logic... but the more you think about it you WANT to JOIN MY point of view! period!

well that depends on ones point of view really... and although it was often quoted from various books and so on i see that that gimme ten SM or failing that...schtick is just cheap advertisment... really... no supes-soldier will be that good...ever... which puts me off if someone insists in the fluff that it is that way...

well... 40k works because we can understand certain things in realtion to our current tech level and such things... thus if something gets too heavy cheesy it gets a bit less drama effective... unwanted comic reliev i would call it...which is probably not intended by GW in any way...^^

ah now i see it...everything is back where it should be... i have seen these minis on ebay for a long time... i see some wild wild west conversions coming up with these...

and actaually the kepi hat looks quite good on the kaskrin...

tho the catachan with the hat looks meh^^

but for general purpose these minis look fit to be used against other companies minis... and will you be getting the heavy cannons too or will this be your job to scratchbuilt gatlings and other guns on your own?

yeeeeeehhhaaa^^ ...tho the gun is verging on the large side a bit with this mini... tho with steampunk you might get away with slightly biggerized guns...

really depends now on the second arm...

ok...now i am sold... still think the las-rifle is a bit too long...but you could add a bipod maybe...or even a small hook to get a look like an arquebuse...

but the googles and the artificial eye piece... that is creating the steampunk look needed to wield those big guns^^
