Just interested to if you guys buy figures as much as me. I buy a random figure probably about once a month - something that looks fantastic, will paint up well - and has absolutely no place in my army.

I like to buy mostly non-GW stuff because it's generally a challenge, and has loads of character.

One time I bought a few classic Plague Marine blisters that were just sitting around taking up space on the rack. I'm now working on a complete Death Guard army.

I find that having random models around helps me think of conversion to do...I often find myself checking out the Lord of the Rings and Warhammer Fantasy miniatures at the Friendly Local Gaming Shop for just that reason. I rarely assemble and paint models that don't have anything to do with my armies...although I suppose I could use them as objectives.

this poll makes no sence isn't it the table top stratagy battle's games reson for existence to sell random modles? any one who voted rarely and plays any table top stratagy battle's games games is obvously lieing!
