Kyle has decided after 4 or 5 years to shut up the shop. The last year has been tough, and I know he is looking forward to spending more time with his family and so I am actually very glad for him.

Well, I think that is all independants in the Northend now gone and just leaves GW places at Alderwood and soon to be Northgate 'ish area - luckily I have some people I play/ paint/ BS with regularly so I won't have to suffer that indignity

Anyway, he is have a 30% clsoing sale.

2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games.

Damn, another one bites the dust. Good luck to him and his future ventures.

I live in Redmond and I've found quite a bit of gaming in that area. Games & Gizmoes and one other (Osmoso?) that have tables for gaming and painting, not to mention the Seattle battle bunker that I'm at weekly; staff is very nice there too.

The Comic Stop across from the Alderwood mall has several gaming systems and some tables, although I've seen a lots of card game tournies using them.

You play 40k in a pub? Not bad for the beer, but I have a hard time envisioning a pub that would put space aside for a gaming table.

yeah we do we have enough room for 4 -5 4 by 8 boards. it is on monday night the slow night. they have several rooms we are in with the pool table. We haven't had any problems with drunks but then again we have some big dudes playing. if we out grow that space we have a back room we can use.

That is officially awesome.

I haven't been to Seattle in years. I've been vaguely meaning to go for a visit with my wife for a while. If we're there on a Monday, I'm there!

we used to do this in a bar outside of Helena. but it helped that the owner was a gamer buddy of mine as well.

Seattle doing this is awesome. I will definatly send you a PM skipper if I am ever back in town.
