Nice work on both the paladin and dwarf. The yellow on the shield is particularly nice-- dirty without being dingy, if you take my meaning.

I've tried using the auto-adjust feature, and while it does make the brights brighter, I find the shadows to be so deep they mask any of the darker areas. I supposed I should actually learn how to adjust camera settings...

Thanks! Yeah I think this years resolution will be finally finding out how the pro mode on my phones camera actually works

150 posts and 6 pages, came a long way since I joined Dakkadakka Back to business with this next lad...

From the 1983(?) Warriors of Chaos V2 box: Ulvar Vileblood, or as I've been calling him Kale The Chaos Warrior! His sword is sculpted in a wavy pattern to provoke a sort of flamey pattern so I attempted that. First Time I've ever attempted something like that and definitely need to work on it,
It ended up looking like old kale so hence the name If anyone has any advice for a "reverse flame pattern" lemme know Went with a classic red color scheme and I think it suits the mini. That thing on his back is supposed to be a dagger but it really looks like a pistol lol, lemme know
what you think!

Heyo! Back again with a little something I've been in the mood to paint for awhile.

Grenadier 1980 Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Mind Flayer from the Tomb of Spells box. I've had the urge to paint up this classic lad for the vintage lead collection for a bit, dunno how I'd fit him into Warhammer unless I use him as a counts as Chaos Wizard...
Tried my darndest to match the monster manual description of "mauve skin, purple to black tentacles, pale pupil eyes, and mauve to red hands". Lemme know how close I got to that description

Here he is up against the DnD party, really need to make a dungeon back drop someday Auto adjusted all the images here and it does bring out the tentacles some more. I'll continue to disclose if I auto adjust or not lol.

Thanks for stopping by!
