I don't like that so many people are excited about the announcement on Facebook about the Feb 1st store opening. Their not going to get what Creature Caster are advertising, the quality of the models shown are no where near what people have been getting by the unboxing videos and pics. It's false advertising and attempting to defraud the customer.

On a side note I would like to see if there going to drop the prices when the store goes online.

So...I don't hate the spider demon. Yeah, I see a few slip ups. But not necessarily impossible. If someone in the US is unhappy with theirs, PM me, we'll arrange for pics, and I'd be willing to toss $50 for one. If you're unsatisfied...lemme know. I might be able to help you recoup some of your loss!

Same offer goes for the pincer demon.

Yeah, I don't see an issue with the painted one. The pics of mold slip on some people's parts do look really bad, though. It seems to be all about getting a good cast.

Tree creature still looks great to me on all the copies shown so far, so that one seems to be a pretty safe bet. If people do buy off the webstore you'd have the usual consumer protections, too - which are unfortunately lacking for the most part with KS!

Honestly it looks pretty close to forge world cast quality, but that's... faint praise. The detail does look pretty soft; maybe it will look better with a coat of primer.

I received a request for shipping payment on Thursday or Friday of last week. They're coming out, slowly.

Seriously, next time you are over at the house you can compare the detail on the tree woman with models 1/10th her size. The tree woman is one of the more successful models, and the sharpness and amount of detail is on par with board game models, or really cheap plastics. The spider woman in that gallery linked is just awful quality. Especially bearing in mind that these are ~8" tall, about the same size as He-Man action figures, and about as detailed.

I'm not saying they didn't promise better, but the results (at least on the Tree creature) are still worth keeping! I'm seeing posts like they're worthless... and that's just going too far from what I can see (not counting the terrible mold slip someone posted above - that should result in a complete replacement, imo).

...which would, of course, mean that many of the casts sent out are, in fact, worthless.

Especially compared to what was advertised here.

For being this late, you'd have thought that at least the quality would be there.

The product being sent out seems to show that the casting partner chosen as really not very good at this type of thing AND that they're QC isn't where it needs to be at all either.

Day two since promises of payment requests being sent out to everyone were made, and promises have still not been kept. I'll be messaging them on their Kickstarter. Hopefully I receive a response. I'm actually kind of anxious to get a hold of these models just so I can do a review and (assuming they're as bad as I expect them to be) put out a review video to show people what they're actually getting instead of the photoshopped, fully painted resin masters they put on their Facebook.

Got my payment request last week. I backed for the Plague Angel. As far as I know, no images have been released of it, just the concept art, so I have no idea what I'm receiving.

Feel bad for anyone that backed for more than 1 model. Even if the casts were up to par, it looks like everyone will be able to get them at a cheaper price than the KS once the store opens.

Plague Angel model has featured in multiple updates and is viewable on the website. Jeremy even streamed the digital sculpting of it*. It has been done for a VERY long time. You must have paid zero attention to the project after backing it in order to avoid seeing it for this long...

*He even took my suggestion on how to handle the genitals (torn off with the wound stitched up). I'm intrigued to see if that made it to the final model.

@Conrad please do post more if you can. I'm still deciding on whether I want to spend the $20 to have the tree woman shipped to me as it would only become a conversion, scenic base(s) or terrain. The purpose of getting this model is years/long past. Or maybe it'll go on eBay to try and recoup at least some cost.

I'm getting everything except the Mountain Dragon and the Maggot Demon. I'll post pics and a review when I get them. I still haven't received my shipping email. I was told I would get it this weekend but Sunday is already here and I don't have it.

It really hasn't. Feel free to correct me but images of the model (not a WIP 3D sculpt) have never been posted in a KS update.

Ah I misunderstood. I apologise. I thought by "concept art" you meant drawings.

That said I think the actual print was shown at some point as he showed them all off in turn, but I'm not about to trawl the updates for it.

Edit: The master is on a google image search. No production model images though.

So if we don't have our invoice by now, something has gone awry?
A barrage of upcoming updates? I'd prefer just a few detailed ones, like hey we've finished invoices if you don't have yours contact us. They'll be swamped answering enquiries now.
I guess creature caster is all about quantity not quality.

Wave 6 is for people who have multiple models across the gold, silver and bronze brackets, and they have not issued payment requests for those people yet.

I'm one of them, and still waiting.
