So, I was thinking about my necron army, and how I dont have a night bringer. and then I was thinking about how I am broke. So I grabbed my green stuff and did what any night bringerless art student would do. I made a female night bringer.

Its not perfect. but its neat.

I too am saddened by this lack, but I have demonettes to make up for this Ctan's shortcomings, so can still sleep at night.

Otherwise, looks good, and quite impressive if done from scratch alone.  Way to be, and props on making the NB a chick for a change >

As far as bits. the only ones I used were the four scarabs on her base. I figured I would use something to make it look a little more definativly Necron.

As far as nips... well I figured she is supposed to be a star god, and she isnt planning on nursing any babies or makin sweet love to any man gods so unlike daemonettes she dosnt need those tips.

as far as her hideous mug, my first plan was to make a beautiful young girl who was eroticly only parialy covered and innocent looking but with a hood covering her formless face. But then I figured that the way the body was turning out she wasnt that young looking and the hood wosnt going to hide her face. so I went for more of a mummy undeadish face. oh yeah, and Im not that great at sculpting so she is a little uglier then i had planned.

Im thinking that I might try again sometime to make a younger temptress ctan, instead of this witch looking one.
One thing I really like the way it turned out is the incredibly long skinny arms. menacing and wicked.

like I said its not perfect. but its definatly tabletop quality.

You are obviously paying attention in class, because this looks better than some "official" Nightbringers I've seen. The sculpt might not be worthy of a spot in PlayElf, but it's still pretty darn good, and your monochrome highlight scheme is better than most monochrome highlight schemes IMHO.

Hmmm, on the point of nipples....yes, you are quite correct, but then how far do we take that thought....perhaps because of the Ctans anture it is actually a sexless being and therefore no need for mammory glands full stop ( or a cock, for that matter! ) plus, there must be some way to reproduce, as where does the male / female Ctan come from!!

I would have loved to see the Ctan female with hanging breast, really like an old crone. These breast give me a chubby and I'd probably lose all thought of combat against her.....and if I captured her....well, she'd be needing them nipples, and quick smart!

If you want reality, I guess you could say that the C'tan discovered gravity
defying implants for truly ancient beings.

But this is fantasy.
