Subject: DLD Productions - still in business?

As far as I know, DLD productions, Old Crow, Pig Iron, and Ground Zero Games are the only manufacturers of resin 25mm scale sci-fi vehicles around, at least besides GW and Forgeworld. Of the four, DLD strikes me as the highest quality with a scale that works the best for GW games. I'd really like to pick up a few of their grav tanks and apc. The only problem is, they don't appear to have updated their site in ages. Are they still around? Are they safe to order from? Has anyone dealt with them before? And finally, did I miss anybody on my list of non-GW scifi vehicles? I'd like to build a dark-age-tech human force and I don't want to convert eldar vehicles or use the marine or imperial guard crap.

Went digging through my old posts, and guess what? I've been hating on mat ward since before it was cool

there was notice on www.theminiaturespage.com a while back about them moving, I would try emailing them or posting on TMP. They were in business last I heard.
Scotia-Grendel also makes resin sci fi but most of their stuff is looking dated these days. It's a bit small but I have some stuff and it works with GW.

David at DLDis just getting back into business after a 9 month hiatus caused by moves, computer crashes, whatnot, etc. I am still waiting on my order from August and David just emailed 2 weeks ago to tell me he was finally getting to it. I don't think he is taking new orders yet, but he is still planning on staying in business.

That's good to hear. I got a bunch of Komodo variants from him a while back. They were really nice resin kits and better than most of what FW had to offer at the time.

Yeah, I got an e-mail from him too. I wanted to pick up some komodos and a pair of civets. They're cheaper than GW (nevermind forgeworld) and I think they scale well to 40k.
