Hi, new BT player here.

Just in the process of putting everything together here, looking for comments on the list before everything is done:

HQ
Marshall - Power Weapon, Combat Shield, Terminator Honours, BP, FG - 122

EC - 6+ Inv. Save Oath - 100

(Each goes in one of the Assault squads)

TROOPS

10 Initiates, 4 Neophytes, Meltagun, Powerfist - 225
10 Initiates, 4 Neophytes, Meltagun, Powerfist - 225
6 Initiates, 1 Lascannon, 1 Plasmagun - 121

FAST ATTACK

8 Initiates, 2x Plasma Pistols, 2 Storm Shield, Powerfist - 207

Marshall already has the Combat Shield modelled, so I'd like to keep that.  I had Termie Honours on him as well, but I axed it for another Initiate in the Las squad.  I also have a couple dreadnaughts and 5 termies at my disposal.  Any comments?  I figure 44 models is nice and horde-like (I only have 40 in my 1700 IW force).

Edit: I had two meltaguns in each squad which is not legal, that freed up some points to upgrade the Marshall and switch a Neophyte to a Initiate.

Bumpity bump?

The list looks fairly solid, depending on who you are facing/mission etc.

One thing I always advocate is giving the assault squad melta bombs. For the points it costs it gives every marine a chance against dreads/vehicles.
