Looks like a strong list. Like alot of mech lists it is light on anti-tank but the BL serpenst answer that a bit. I would consider some FD but if you are using Banshees I think you need the 2 units to make them work. The only change I would make is dropping the starcannons for scatters (I think the doom/banshees combo should take out about anything) and the vypers. Use the points for a biketarch and stick him with the other bikes. That'd be a really nasty unit. I was just thinkig how nice it is to see all aspect lists that are actually viable. The swordwind now actually works. Luck ender502

thanks for the feed back, the first draft had the starcannons, i took them out from the points but not the list by accident. ill try the bikearch this weekend. The vipers were for objective grabing and maybe back armor hunting. ill test to see how effective it is to give the shinning spears and extra punch.

What weapons are on the falcons? You're not listing the pulsar laser which is required. I question the viablity of the triskles and the exarch on the banshees. And it seems like you ahve a lot of toys on the dire avengers. I bet if you cut down on the toys that I see there you can get maybe another unit, possibly a biketarch. Just my 2 cents

Those banshees are almost always going to fleet to get in combat, so you would be better served with mirrorswords than the triskele. You should list the point total next time, as it makes it much easier to see how much of any given thing you need.

Good point about the banshee exarch. The point total is like 13 points from 1750. So i would have enough points for the mirrored swords. Reason i didnt get holoed engines on the falcons is that i expect the dire avengers to be unloaded after it moves on the first turn. If i had more points to play with, id def add the holo engines.
I'm not listing the pulse laser cause its a given, and costs no extra points, same reason i didnt list power weapons/pistol or shuriken catapults for the banshees and dire avengers.
I understand the dire avengers have alot of toys, but they are the backbone of this army. With defend, they hold assualt armies in their track, with blade storm, their tear horde armies a new one. Shimmer shield and power sword allows them to not just delay units in assualts, but also a chance to get a few good whacks in and survive. The avengers i really like as it, i am very reluctant to change them.

How about dropping the triskles and getting vectored thrust engines as Coredump recommended. You want to ensure that you can get the banshees over to where you drop them off. This decreases the 1/12 chance of any hit killing a falcon to a mere 1 in 36. You may consider vectored engines on everything, since a waveserpent can be toasted even easier. I would get them before buying additional shuriken cannons. But I'd get both for sure.

the only place i think i can squeeze points out of is if i dropped the banshee exarch. Normally, id never take her as she doesnt give ld bonus and is expensive for what she does. The reason i added her here is because i was unsure how much of a punch a squad of 6 banshees would make. But i do understand the importance of vectored engines, i just wish they'd cost a little less. i guess the banshees will be ok if i support them with plenty of shuriken fire and the shinning spears. Out goes the exarch and in goes the vectored engines. 27 points left over, vectored engines for one of the wave serpents?
