www.fantasyflightgames.com/mutant_chronicles_minis.html I'm not too excited about the 54mm scale, but they do look good so far. Looks like it'll be a hex based system.

They definitely look good. The scabbard on the one guy suggests the same soft plastic that we see in most of the PPMs, though that could be a trick of the angle.
It'll be nice to see the game back at all, though I'm curious to see how it functions in 'board game' form...

Ahhh Mutant Chronicles, I dig it. Are these prepaints? Actually, from syr's post maybe I should go back and actually read about the game, hadn't realized it was a 'board game' ...

It's "collectible". Grrr.... EDIT: Now by collectible, do they mean random collectible, or known collectible?

I still have the original MC boardgames. The Citadel was so cool to play, and still a good thing to drag out at times. Hopefully the new stuff is as good as the stuff from 20 years ago.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

Actually, from syr's post maybe I should go back and actually read about the game, hadn't realized it was a 'board game' ... - Boss Salvage When I say 'board game' I include CMGs in that category, as most of them (especially DDM and HeroClix) are played on specific boards/maps/mats rather than scenic tabletops, or are hex/square based rather than inch/ cm based. Battletech, by the way, could fall into that category.

Interesting. I am not going to play the game, but I may pick up a few figures. Why? 54mm means they are good for Inquisitor (should there be dollar signs in that word?) and statues for City Fight terrain. So, should be good for those reasons. Plus daemons and what not are fairly scale-less, so a huge daemon might be good.

I knew Alakhai the Cunning, I fought battles with Alakhai the Cunning, and you sir, are no Alakhai the Cunning!
The Mitch Hunter fig is pretty cool, though.
As long as they keep Tim Prow's sculptin' hand away from these, they will be okay.

Considering I still own a perfectly good Dark Legion army that i use about once a month with a small group of player I have no interest in any of tha crap that this company is going to push out the door and have the audacity to call Mutant Chronicles.
Neither model looks true to the original art to me. Mitch is way too under armored, I mean the guy is running around in a tee shirt, and don't get me strated on Alakhai. THAT is NOT a Nepharite of Algeroth.
I know the guy who produced the most recent run of Warzone and saw many of the models that he was working on having produced (hell I was working on one myself) and he got screwed out of the licence. It is a shame that many of the minis will never seen the light of day.
