Second round match up was also against Cygnar. He had Stryker, Iron clad, storm blades, long gunners, chain gun jack and a solo.
I get set up and take first. Set up in the same formation as the first round, jacks in the middle with everything else behind, Zealots way out to the left and Eyriss deployed up the right to claim first round objective. Mission was control points with three objectives around the middle of the board. First turn I run the Zealots up to try and claim a objective. Three jacks run base to base up the middle. Choir chants to no range attacks on the jacks and the rest of my force advance behind the jacks for cover. Eyriss goes invisible. I thought my opponent had already overextended himself to try and match my throw away units (Eyriss and Zealots) I thought for sure he would set up his long gunners across from my Zealots and shoot them down before they could cross the board. His first turn he moves up his Iron Clad, Journey solo and chain gun jack to go after the objective Eryiss was camped out on? Moves up his storm blades to go after the Zealots. At this point I would like to interject the fact that he had not played quite as many games and was fairly new. My second turn I use most of my focus on Redeemers move them up and open fire on his long gunners killing all but one lone gunner. I run my exemplars and paladin out from behind the jack shield up the left flank to support the Zealots. I activate Kreoss and cast Protection on Zealots the run further up toward the storm blades. Eyriss shoots chain gun jack with disrupt after running into nearby woods. All that's left in the middle is Stryker and lone long gunner. His turn he kills a few Zealots with his storm blades from shooting but protection save most. Next turn I proceed to move everything forward, feat, bomb storm blades with zealots and charge Exemplars with paladin toward Stryker. I shoot the last gunner with Redeemer. His turn he charges into Eyriss with Iron clad but fails to hit her. My turn I try to break Eyriss out of combat but Iron clad muclhes her. I charge my exemplars and Paladin into Stryker and flubber a bunch of rolls. I don't kill Stryker until my Redeemer on the hill shoots into combat and finishes him off. VP's 14 to 1
